No Custom field in Screen Options on WordPress version 4.5

Can anyone tell me why there’s no ‘Custom Fields’ in Screen options on the top right toolbar?

problems uploading media with version 4.5

I have had consistent problems uploading photos to my blog since the update to version 4.5. I get an HTTP error message, which necessitates me having to try again and again until I can finally upload the image. This was not a problem before the update.

All of my plugins are up to date, as I always update them immediately.

I’ve seen a lot of other reports about this same problem.

Everything else is working well, but this problem is annoying, to say the least.

Just want to let you know it’s happening to a lot of us.

WP 4.5 Crashed Visual Composer

VC is crippled, even a developer update with custom code to address this WP update’s ridiculously damaging behavior has not fixed issues. Why release something so destructive when so many website owners use VC? If you haven’t updated to 4.5 yet… DON’T!!!!!!!!

Unable to upload or add feature images since update to version Coleman

Since updating to version Coleman I’m unable to add feature images and when I try to upload the images directly I’m getting an http error. The media just doesn’t display. The circle just keeps spinning even when I try to search for the image.

I can upload to media with no problem.

Visual Composer/Editor not working after WordPress update

My visual composer stopped working after I made the update to the newer version of wordpress.

I’ve tried to deactivate all plugins and active one by one, I’ve tried to clear the cache, nothing worked. My whole website won’t load, the sections with I actually used the Visual Editor plugin won’t open/load on the pages editor.

I’m quite concerned right now, somebody please help me..
Can I downgrade the wordpress version? Do I have to wait until the plugin website make the update themselves?

Error/Broken: Media Library Image Upload

I have been unable to upload any new media files to the media library. WP lets me upload but the images/files do not show up correctly nor work. More context below.

Background:
-I am an admin who knows just enough to be dangerous
-I tried uploading media files yesterday (4/12) using WP v4.4.2 and today (4/13) using WP v4.5. Same issue with both versions.
-Tried multiple file formats in different sizes to test
-I contacted hosting/server provider; everything works on their end
-I checked and rechecked theme and plug-ins (this includes deactivating and activating); all compatible with 4.5
-I cleared caches on all browsers
-Site is working fine on front end; need a solve to be able to continue updates on back end.

Steps and outcomes:
1. Dragged media files into uploader (also tried selecting from computer)
2. Media uploads progress bar shows progress
3. Final media image is a small blue box with a question mark. Tried testing link which does not work. Link url looks correct.

I saw a few different posts related to Media Library but none matched quite exactly and more than a few got off topic by 4.5 disgruntles. I simply want to find a fix for my client at the very earliest possible time. Thanks in-advance!
