Elementor 3.26.0 version update problem

My websites work on Elementor 3.25.11. After updating to the latest version Elementor 3.26.0, my websites are not working.

After the Elementor update, all my websites are showing the warning “There is a serious problem with your site.”

Customer support responded quickly and reliably and was able to help me very quickly with an update error. The problem was fixed with a version update and it has been running perfectly ever since.

Can I go from The Event Calendar 5.16.2.1 to latest

I am new to the role of webmaster and the prior one did not update The Event Calendar plugins since The Event Calendar version 5.16.2.1 because it broke the site. I suspect a conflict with a custom extension but he doesn’t remember exactly what broke. In the meantime, our Pro license expired. I want to try to reactivate and update the plugins and fix whatever broke but there is a warning in cPanel “= [6.0] = Please see the changelog for the complete list of changes in this release. Previous versions of The Events Calendar are not cross-compatible with 6.X add-ons. Remember to always make a backup of your database and files before updating!” So, I made a backup of our dev environment. Then I tried to read the release logs but there are too many versions and it is hard to keep track.

My question is not for support but for advice and suggestions from the community: Is there a short list of things I must be aware of or anything I can preemptively change/update before I try to install the latest version? Should I disable the Pro version until the problem is fixed and I can convince management to buy the license again? Or leave it active and update it as well?

Hello Support,

We have a critical error after the plugin version update from 8.4.0 to 8.5.0. Below is the error we are getting and this is getting triggered when the User profile is updating via admin.

An error of type E_ERROR was caused in line 146 of the file /wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-subscriptions/vendor/woocommerce/subscriptions-core/includes/class-wc-subscriptions-addresses.php. Error message: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function wc_notice_count() in /wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-subscriptions/vendor/woocommerce/subscriptions-core/includes/class-wc-subscriptions-addresses.php:146

I have checked with 8.4 and no issues over there. So its clearly the version 8.5.0 causing the issue.

Please look into this asap as there are many WooCommerce stores having subscription plugin installed and configured.

The issue exists in the 8.5.1 version as well.

Update the plugin to match with the latest core version

AIOWPS_BLOCK_SPAMBOTS section of .htaccess removed after updating plugin

After we updated the plugin to version 5.1.9 the AIOWPS_BLOCK_SPAMBOTS (_START to _END) section of the .htaccess file was removed.

Is this expected behavior or should we restore this section?

From the WordPress backend the donation forms, donation and donors screens doesn’t load and makes the site brake into this error above.

Please test and review thoroughly and release a new bugfix version to www.ads-software.com.
