Is it possible for the volunteers to update/change or delete their own sign up?
Thanks!
]]>My website is currently using PHP 7.4
I need to move it to PHP 8.1 which is the recommended version, but when someone at customer support tried to help me, he found the following error:
PHP Fatal error: Uncaught ArgumentCountError: Too few arguments to function WP_Widget::__construct(), 0 passed in /home/tulore/tulegacy.org/wp-includes/class-wp-widget-factory.php on line 62 and at least 2 expected in /home/tulore/tulegacy.org/wp-includes/class-wp-widget.php:163
I need to fix it, so I can move it to the PHP 8.1 version, but I’m not very savvy on web development and I need help to fix this, since it is a code use.
Can anyone help me to resolve that issue before May 31st, otherwise I’ll be charge a maintenance fee and this is a Non-Profit that does everything Pro-Bono.
ON THE OTHER HAND…..
The website above is going to be replaced by https://www.stage.tulegacy.org/
As I mentioned, everything for this Non-Profit is done Pro-bono. I’ll post another request asking for a volunteer that can help continue the new website development, since the volunteer that I previously had, couldn’t help any more. If you know someone that wants to help with this project, I’ll really appreciate if you can connect us.
Thank you!
]]>I noticed that according to the docs that two cron functions should be running to send out reminder notifications and to check for rescheduled events. With the latest plugin (don’t know if it was working earlier) I do not see either cron function when I check the list (using another plugin). The recent reminders were not sent when the date occurred even the website get frequent visits. When manually activated the reminders go out without any problem and the emails are sent. Also new sign ups get the confirmation email ok.
Is there a problem with the current plugin and WordPress?
What two cron functions should I see on the list of cron function events. I could not find any specifics on these two “hooks” in the docs for the plugin.
Thank you.
]]>When I change it to “https://kofcvt.org/volunteer/?sheet_id=10&task_id=36” it displays the task_list properly. I checked my permalinks and they are set up correctly.
We have 4 categories an the task list and attendees have the option to volunteer for other categories. Having to go to main menu and re-enter sign-up is time consuming.
I’ve read the help and it’s very good. This plug-in is well liked by our members.
Please advise, thanks,
rick
Having trouble finding a plugin that can solve my membership needs.
I have this volunteer club for kids where I need a membership or signup system that enables me to have the parents register with informations about herself or himself.
That includes informations that should not be shown on any public profile page – but only to administrator/staff members. (Like social security number)
At the same time, I need that parent to be able to signup one or more kids to the club. The kids account should be linked to the parents account so that we (staff) can see the association. (In case of emergencies)
And at the same time the parent should be able to signup for volunteer shifts at the club on specific dates with a maximum numbers of volunteers per shift.
Does anyone now of any plugin or combination of plugins that could cover my needs?
Thanks for helping.

I see various project/task plug-ins, but I’m not sure what to look for to be able to integrate it so I give points to members for completing volunteer tasks. The Event Manager looks like it will handle events, but for other tasks, I’m unsure what would work?

]]>I have a Customer Relationship Manager plugin inside WordPress and I would like to exclude Volunteer registrations (as WordPress users). I think that defining a specific role for registered volunteer is a good solution. How I can do this?
Thanks for a reply in advance!
