I have tried to find the answer to this by looking through here and your docs, but forgive me if I missed it.

Can I set a delivery price based on the weight of the product? One of our carriers charges by the KG. All products have their weight recorded in WooCommerce. They have a minimum and maximum cost which needs to be taken into account.

Also, we use 2 different carriers, with different rates for their respective product ranges, with the free version can I accommodate this by using Classes, Categories, or Tags (any 1 of them will do)?

I would normally install it to give it a try, but it would be a lot of work, and it’s to replace an existing plugin so I would need to be sure before I commit.

In my order (see screens) of 19 Euro it should show 5 Euro shipping cost because of the 2kg order.

We need to be able to add a minimum charge on a per-product basis. For example, a poster falls into the correct weight category but its size means there needs to be an additional charge.

Is this possible?

I was wondering if you could add a fee instead of a discount to a weight based rule for each product with the Plugin “Discount Rules”
I am working on an online-shop which allows the costumer to buy the products by weight. The costumer is free to type in any weight in grams. I now want to add a flat fee of 0,70 ct, if the costumer decides to buy less than 100g of a product. Something like a small weight surcharge. Would this be possible with this Plugin “Discount Rules”? The fee has to be added to each product individually and not for the whole cart in the end. So i need a rule that adds 0,70 ct to each product prize when there is less than 100g selected.
I hope I was able to bring my Problem across and I would be really grateful if you could tell me if something like this is possible with this plugin. Or if there is any other Plugin that might do the trick!

I need flat rate assigned to the fertilizer as it is heavy.
I need weight based for the plants as I can combine them and ship many for a lower cost.

In woocommerce it seems(as I’ve pulled my hair out for hours now) you can ONLY ship using ONE or the other.

I’ve also tried their per product shipping and that wasn’t what I needed either.

I need customers to be able to add both to their cart, flat rate AND weigh based, and for woocommerce to add both up and give them a TOTAL cost.

I can’t get this set up any way I’ve tried.
any help is much appreciated.

I am not sure if I am leaving out something as this just seems over Complicated.

Under general settings I have selected USA, UK and Canada only and under the original shipping zones, and under shipping classes I’ve added: UK domestic, UK domestic courier, UK international and USA only. I have not assigned any costs to these classes. Or rates. All are no tax.

My other concern is under each product of selecting a shipping class – for company A products that’s fine as I choose usa only.

What can I do to incorporate different shipping methods and costs without make the cart look like a jumbled mess?
