White Block at top of page

I started making a new homepage for a company I do my internship at, i’ve come quite far but since the beginning there has been a white block that i can’t interact with at the top of the page. It makes the site look ugly because of it and I have no clue how to get rid of this.

My site is coming along nicely, and I like the Twenty Twenty-Three theme, but I’d like to reduce the amount of blank space under the menu block. Some of my pages will have featured images (banners), and some may not — so I’d like to reduce the whitespace on both types of pages. This will not be a blog site, so all the pages will be regular static pages.

I struggled with this issue for quite a while, and I tried to adjust padding and margins, but it didn’t have the desired effect. Also, the whitespace is still there even if the menu bar doesn’t have the logo image in it, so it’s not the logo that’s pushing everything down.

I’m guessing that there’s a CSS solution here, but I don’t know what it is. Thank you for any help you can provide.

I will be using S3 as the backup storage method, so will the following issue impact the integrity of those backups on S3? Please see the warning prompt I’m seeing in the WP admin panel below:

White Space & Horizontal Scroll Bar

Was fighting white-space on the right and the horizontal scroll bar appearing. Had to add extra CSS [body {overflow-x:hidden}] to remove it. Not sure if that is a bandaid fix or if there is something off with the CSS for other content items.

Hi everyone, I’m hoping this is a simple fix. I’ve already adjusted the padding and margins to 0 on both the block and the footer, but there is still a white space between the two. I tried to disguise it by making the background of the block white, but you can still tell there is too much space there, especially on mobile devices.

I’ve already found the solution to remove the extra white space for single post:

Great plugin, thank you for creating it!

One thing, however… I’m noticing that the appearance of posts on LinkedIn have a lot of white space between paragraphs. Even paragraphs that do not have images between them.

I have tried all of the available options:
– Simple Text Message
– Attach Your Blog Post
– Text Message With Image

Please advise. I would very much like to send a tightly formatted output to LinkedIn.

HTML links in user bio create blank space

Hi, this issue has just appeared in all browsers (incognito windows and cleared caches included). There are HTML links in the author bio on this page: https://www.themindfulword.org/climate-chaos/ and they’re showing up as blank space next to “author of” and “Climate Chaos.” and (that should be > after the last quotation mark, if it’s showing improperly here) are preceding “Earth & Soul” and and are following “Climate Chaos.” Usually, these HTML links wouldn’t create these blank spaces but would just blend seamlessly into each bio. Has anyone else encountered this issue? PS. The author’s bio on their author page looks normal: https://www.themindfulword.org/author/leah-rampy/ .
