Reduce space between widgets in sidebar

Hi,
This is my first post in here so hope I’m doing this all correctly!
I have a few image widgets in my sidebar on my blog but they are all really far apart, I’d like them to be really close to each other so the Recent Posts shows above the fold.

I’ve been searching for ages to try and resolve this and found a few people have posted css text when others have asked this question but none of them seem to work for me.

Firstly, I assume I need to post the css text in my specific theme?

Secondly, if anyone could share with me what text I would need to put in there I’d be really greatful.

Dear Support,
I am using footer widget area1 and area2. In area1 I have text, in area2 I have images.
I would like the space between area 1 and area 2 to be less. I have used the following CSS, but it is not making the padding or margins decrease.

#main-footer div[class^=footer-sidebar] {
    padding-bottom: 0;
	  padding-top:0;
}

.footer-sidebar-2 .widget {
    margin-bottom: 10;
	  margin-top: 0;
}

Please could you help me?

Hi,
Thank you for the awesome theme. It is so easy on the eye and is the best mobile-ready theme I have used. More importantly, all my users love it.

I write to request help on a couple of issues:

1. Can you please let me know where I can change “leave reply”? I could not find it in comments.php

2. I wish to increase the gap between the post content and the widgets on the right. Can you please help where I need to change this?

what css do I need to decrease padding at bottom

I am new to wordpress, so I may need to ask the theme creator this question. I can add two widgets to my header. I added this one and the search one. The spacing between the search button and the social icons is big, and I would like to decrease it so my search is closer to the social icons and not sitting on top of my menu. Is this something I can do with this plugin container, or do I need to adjust with my theme’s css? Thanks.

Sidebar/Widget vertical spacing

Where in the suits style sheet do I enter code to add space in between my widgets? I also have a Pinterest add-in at the top of my sidebar. I don’t know at what point they all lost the space between them. I’m not sure if I should be editing in theme style sheet or in CSS editor, but either way I don’t know what and where to put the code.

When I just added my last text widget (for the newsletter sign up form, underneath the Facebook like box), it places it way below. I’ve tried adjusting the general widget bottom margin in the css code, but it doesn’t help with that. All the other widgets are spaced well.

Widget area size and spacing

How do I go about reducing the width of the widget column and also reducing the spacing between each widget for example the spacing between the facebook link and the search bar.

I would like to change the spacing between the widgets in my sidebar. I haven’t been able to use the typical css changes in .widget_ section of the CSS file. Is there any specific code for this theme and widget spacing?

Add a line break between sidebar widgets

The widgets in both my right and left sidebars appear a bit crowded and I would like to add a line break between the bottom of one widget and the top of another.

Would someone know the appropriate code and the location in the template where I shoudl add it to?
