We have recently been making some changes to our website www.coconom.com and added a plugin to speed up the site slightly which appears to have left us with a width issue on the site.
We deactivated the theme and nothing changed so came to forums for some assistance if any can be given before we reset the theme.
Im unsure if this is a simple fix or whether we have to hand over to someone to fix for us and would just welcome some advice if possible before making any drastic changes, which may end up causing more harm.
Many thanks for your time
Steve

Can this be fixed?
I’ve just about finished my layout for this site, when a friend pointed out that I’m getting a horizontal scroll bar, where there’s no actual content when you scroll over to the right.
Using firebug, I can see there’s some element there that it can highlight, which seems to be a blank column visually. The mystery is that it doesn’t show any code associated with it. Instead it just shows this html tag in the code

The quick info says it’s an HTML node with 1265px width, but I have no idea how this is being generated or where it’s coming from. It’s not part of the container at all.
The site is:https://salmeland.com/blog/
My stylesheet is below.
Thanks for your help here!

This is for a Guild forum website, but I have really been struggling with the themes allot, I would like a wide website which is fixed in width and yet does not double up with the sidebar like some themes do such as https://www.ads-software.com/extend/themes/piano-black
Is it possible to fix the main content bit in my current theme to be wider or to remove the widgets for only the forum page yet not the whole thing, I would need a forum width that is fairly large of at least the width of the current whole content area overall that it is at the minute.
Is there anyone that can help?

Here’s the issue, I created a blogroll of my “best of” articles in which I link internally to articles in which I want to link to. When I click on any of those links and proceed to the post, the width of my main text area and my sidebar are floating past my exterior page area by about 2-3 pixels. It’s not much, but it’s causing a big clash. It’s only happening to the posts in which I link to, I even tried making a test link to see with the most recent article on the main page and it’s doing it to, although on the main page it’s looking fine.
It’s probably something small that I need to do, I just can’t find the answer. Any help is appreciated!
