I haven’t inputted a lot of information into the plugin yet, as I’ve just been trying to figure it out, so at this point it would be so much easier for me to reset everything.
Deactivating and deleting the plugin does nothing because when I reinstall it, it saves all of my settings and files, so everything is exactly the same as before.
How can I go about resetting the plugin?
Thanks!
The existing system does NOT remove existing content (plugins, media, etc) when doing a restore from a wpress file. There should be an option for this.
In looking through the “wish list” for this program, it appears this as been on the “todo” list for well over the past year and a half. Can this be prioritized?

I had installed WP RSS Aggregator a few years ago to aggregate a feed for my website, but it never really worked the way I wanted it to.
Fast forward to today, and I now want to use it to pull in an RSS feed from Medium, but all my old data is still there. It’s more than 2 million feed items – 132,000 pages. Is there a way to bulk delete all the plugin data and start fresh? I’ve uninstalled the plugin, but when I reinstall it, the data is still there. I talked to my hosting service and they were no help.
Thanks,

If not, consider this a feature request.
Luckily this was not in production, but this is very worrying. How can I retain settings when future upgrades are made? This is kind of critical.

Are you aware of any events that apply themselves to elements and would cause their internal data to be lost?
If there is such an event, please advise on how to disable it. I have tried cloning and replacing the element on dom-ready to remove all event listeners with no avail.

I just had the same problem as others (lock-out).
I can only use CLI so I renamed the plugin directory, logged in, renamed it back, and uninstalled. Then I verified – the directory is gone.
My problem is that after I re-install it, I automatically get locked out the moment I enable this plugin. I tried this 3 times and it’s consistent.
How to completely remove all traces of the plugin for safe re-installation?
(The answer is not “drop all tables” because does not help. Even after a clean un-installation and the dropping all tables, once the plugin is re-installed it remembers previous lockdown and login rename page).
Some other plugins offer the option to remove all settings, but I realize it’s additional functionality. It’d be nice if we could remove the settings manually.
