I am experiencing an issue with the tax calculation in my WooCommerce store. Despite having the following settings correctly configured:
WooCommerce is still adding a 25% tax on top of the prices, even though the prices are already inclusive of tax.
WooCommerce version: 9.3.3
WordPress version:: 6.6.2?
Here is WooCommerce > Settings > Tax > Standard rates

Question – if the customer puts in their sales tax number they should not be charged taxes.
If they don’t have a sales tax number – they should be charged taxes. Is that something we can coordinate with woo commerce?

]]>I am facing an issue with the tax shown on the checkout page. I have a total of 1000+ standard Tax Rates based on the different Zip codes of Florida locations. Rates were added successfully but still tax not showing on the checkout page based on the customer’s entered zip code.
I am attaching screenshots for the Tax Configurations. Can you please check and let me know what exactly is wrong here?

]]>I have done the following;
– Enabled Tax (Woocommerce -> Settings > General)
– Prices entered with Tax (Yes, I will enter prices inclusive of tax)
– Display prices in the shop (Including Tax)
– Display prices during cart and checkout (Including Tax)
– Display tax totals (as a single total)
However it adds the tax rate of 25% on top of my products, where it should be already included in the price.
Is there an alternative than going back and adjusting all prices of these products to not include tax and let Woocommerce add tax on top of it ?

WooCommerce will not charge tax with “charge based on customers shipping address setting” enabled, and yes I have also tried using customers default location to “none” and “geo locate” with the geo plugin configured correctly.
WooCommerce will charge tax based on my shops home base address, however this is an incorrect way to charge tax. I have it enabled for now since its the only way I can collect some tax.
At the moment I am using no plugins for tax, and I want to keep it that way if possible.
Some back story to when this error occurred: A few months ago I upgraded the site, previously I was using WooCommerce Shipping & Tax paired with Jetpack. Since deleting Jetpack and woo auto shipping plugin this error occurred. I no longer have any use for Jetpack which is why I deleted it.
I have checked the core files where the WooCommerce standard rates file is located and it to the best of my knowledge it looks good. I also recently updated Woo database as well as disabled some plugins… and no luck.
I’m out of ideas, any help would be greatly appreciated. See the images on pasteboard.
]]>Just wandered if anyone can give an helping hand here.
Basically we are using Woocommerce to setup a shop and 5 of our products are very large items aimed at corporate companies where as the rest of our products are aimed at the usual Joe Bloggs. So our prices are inclusive of VAT.
However for the 5 products aimed at corporate companies we would like to display just these 5 excluding vat so we can add +VAT to the product, this way the companies know how much they are paying and the fact they can claim back their VAT. Hopefully making the price look a little more attractive.
So my question being is it possible or is there a plugin that will allow for me to do this, just have those 5 products say +vat and the rest as they are?
Thanks you to anyone who can help me here.
