Current version Woocommerce for client is 7.5.1
Tried to upgrade to 8.7.0 but says
Update failed: The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_MISSING_FILE (-4) : Missing archive file ‘/tmp/woocommerce.8.7.0.zip’
I had already upgraded it on my TEST Server firstly and no issues.
But on the live site I get this and have never come across this issue before.
What is wrong? What do I do ?
Thanks
Kristin
]]>I only noticed this a couple weeks after upgrading and i have created new products etc so i cannot go back to the previous version without losing all data i have recently created. So that is not an option.
Im not very good with WP and dont know how to write any code nor input it anywhere so please take that into account when answering. Many thanks!

I made an upgrade of woocommerce plugin some weeks ago,
started the DB upgrade, but it’s still updating… there are more than 11K activities pending…
what I can do?
I’m self learning, so please, send me “easy” solution…

]]>I have created a staging site for it in which I upgraded WooCommerce to version 3.9.1 so I could test it out.
When I display a category page, each product now displays the following error message:
Notice: short_description was called incorrectly. Product properties should not be accessed directly.
There than follows a lot of Backtrace information. Can anybody help explain what is causing this and how I can fix it.
The only other difference between the live site and the staging site is that I have debug turned on in the staging site. I’m wondering if this message will appear if I turn on debug in the live site, but as that is working, I don’t really want to mess with it.
]]>I have updated to the latest version of Woocommerce for a client and already have 5.1.1 WordPress latest version also.
Straight after my Woocommerce upgrade to 3.6.2 all my images on Product Category ONLY (which are a square shape) have gone strange and trying to be the SAME size as the images on the Product pages.
I have firstly just tested on my TEST site and NOT the live site. WHen I downgraded back down the older Woocommerce version it all went back to normal so I know it is ONLY to do with the latest version of Woocommerce.
I have images set to :
ul.products li.product img {
display: block;
max-width: 210px;
}
which works perfectly on older version of Woocommerce where the Product Category images with Titles are Square and all Product Images are Portrait images so using the Max-width 210px caused no issues at all.
But ONLY when I upgrade to WOocommerce 3.6.2 is when it causes the images on the Product Category Images ONLY to cut it off on the edges etc. I tried playing around with coding but nothing worked.
I’m completely stuck as I need to get this sorted.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Kristin

]]>The issue: I run WC 4.7, MySQL 5.6, PHP 7.01., WooCommerce 2.5.5 (actually I don’t run them, they run over me every single time).
I pretty much become the most religious person, when it’s time to make a WooCommerce upgrade. Recent 2.69 just crashed my site like 20 times. I turned off ALL! plugins, still crashed my site. I also disabled WC but that crashed my site again. I had to delete the plugin, upload it and reupload my database yet again. So Itried manual and auto uploads, no success. I have a compatible theme.
I never know what the mighty Woo is going to do next time. Since going fullblown white screen makes my stomach sick and my hair even whiter, I decided to ask for some guidance, to save myself the stressful experience.
So any idea what I’m doing wrong in upgrading from WC 2.5.5 to 2.69 would be greatly appreciated.

Martin
