Wordfence Not sending Alerts

I have installed Wordfence on this site https://www.burstwickpc.co.uk. I have set up the email I want alerts to go to and when I use the “Send Test Email ” feature in Wordfence the message is sent and received OK. However:

1. I do not get any notifications from Wordfence when (for example) I log as Admin
2. The email created with the test goes to an account which should autoforward all messages. The autoforward works but it does not autoforward the Wordfence test message!

Any clues how to fix would be appreciated.

Help with outgoing email notifications from Wordfence

I just signed up with Wordfence yesterday and when I receive email alerts of new registrations my real address is showing in your email signatures. How do I remove this? I have tried searching an looking everywhere.

Hi,
I logged onto my wp-admin dashboard, normal.
Then I went to the Wordfence dash, it had 2 notifications so I clicked on the notifications link.
Then a Google Security Warning (red warning in URL bar) came up saying it’s not a private connection and I shouldn’t follow the link. Didn’t follow the link.
And now when I log into my wp-admin dash (password stored in browser) I get a ‘cookie disabled’ warning (which is nonsense! cookies have not been disabled!) and when I click on login again without changing anything it logs into the wp-admin dash.
Then I seem to get logged out of wp-admin automatically within a few seconds and the wp-admin login screen comes up again with no password auto-inserted!
Very strange! And everything was normal yesterday on the site www.walksforyou.com
Very suspicious!
Any insights at all appreciated, thanks!

Turn off dashboard notifications

I would really appreciate it if WF would include an option to turn OFF dashboard notifications. Currently, WF notifications create a small orange circle with a number inside it indicating the number of notifications.

The reason for this is that the notifications are not equal; I am notified for things such as issues found during a recent scan, as well as updates for plugins, as well as for new blog postings on the WF blog. I might ONLY want notifications for issues from recent scans – not notifications for plugin updates or for new blog postings at WF.

I am all for updating plugins regularly, but I use a separate service through which I monitor and update plugins. In addition, I already have about three separate update warnings in my WordPress admin dashboard apart from the Wordfence notification. And even after I update a plugin, the WF notification remains.

The larger issue here is that with so many updates generated by WF, they lose value. I think people are much more likely to ignore notifications altogether once they find out that the notifications do not signify importance. They should be used sparingly according to our own needs.

Not receiving all notifications

I have notifications set up to let me know when there are critical errors such as when plugins require updates. However, I am no longer receiving these by email.

I still get emails letting me know when someone has logged in and I have successfully received the test email.

I have three wordpress sites and the issue is occurring on all of them.
