'Set NextGEN featured image' in a post only works sometimes

“Set NextGEN featured image” is not easy with WordPress 4.5.1 and Theme Fifteen. Sometimes the image is shown, but more often not. This doesn’t depend on the size of the image. There are only a few plugins in use, no complicated ones.

WordPress 4.5.1 – Visual composer & page issues

Hey all,
Wonder if anyone could help me. Since update to WordPress 4.5.1 the visual composer has stopped working so I can’t edit any pages, & also one page has stopped working?

I have deactivated plugins one by one, & then re-activated to try & work out if one of them, but this has shed no light.

Any idea what may have happened & how I can fix it?

WordPress 4.5.1 Impact on Simmer for Recipes & Links

I upgraded to WordPress 4.5.1. Maintenance Release on 26/04/2016. I have added recipes to my blog using Simmer for Recipes and other general Posts using normal WordPress features. However, I am now unable to insert links into recipes or blog posts to other existing or new recipes added. Existing links work OK. The Insert Link option in both recipes and posts functions as normal and indicates the link has been added. However, as soon as you save this change to the recipe or the post, the saved version has plain text and no link! If you publish the recipe or post it does not show the link. If you try again and go back into it , the same thing occurs. Can anyone help?

XpertAccordion Plugin Conflicts with WordPress 4.5.1

Since I’ve upgraded to WordPress 4.5.1, XpertAccordion seems to be causing conflicts with different aspects of my website. I get 500 Errors, My WordPress theme’s drag-and-drop editor disappears from my WordPress WYSIWYG, some buttons do not function, my website’s Revolution Slider plugin’s functionality is also affected, ETC, ETC. I’ve deactivated all of my other plugins while running XpertAccordion and that did not seem to help.

Has anyone else had this issue and solved it? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Visual Editor Not Functiong

Hi, I am running visual editor 4.5.1 (just updated) and newest version of headway themes (donnamilham.com). I have switched to 2016 theme, made all plugins inactive and the visual editor on posts/pages is not functioning.

I don’t have an .htaccess file in wp-includes (as one person suggested deleting)

I changed the plugin folder name in my file manager and then logged into the account, then changed the folder name back and reactivated plugins with no success. Now one of the plugins isn’t working properly and I still don’t have visual editor on my client’s site.

This has to get working, so I can update my client’s website. Am running same theme & wordpress 4.5.1 on other sites without this issue. Please help!

My https://youngpioneertours.com visual editor is blank, I can’t click it’s tab and it just stays in the Text tab.

I checked with both Chrome and Firefox – both cleared cache – both not working
All plugins deactivated – not working
SCRIPT_DEBUG return to true – not working
the JavaScript error: Error: no such method 'instance' for autocomplete widget instance
Found in: jquery.js:2:1814

I hope someone could help.

today I updated WordPress to Version 4.5.1 and since then the Plugin Revolution Slider is not working on the website.
