WordPress Backend not accessible!

Hallo,

I have a issue that I cann’t access wordpress backend if the Real cookie banner is activated. I need to hard deactive in the web server by renaming the plugin folder name to access the backend.

Does any one else have the same problem?

this morning at 2 a.m. it still worked! just try to get into my backend to do a backup of the site but unfortunately I get the message:

Error establishing a database connection
This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or that contact with the database server at database-5009778223.ud-webspace.de could not be established. This could mean your host’s database server is down.

Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
Are you sure you have typed the correct hostname?
Are you sure the database server is running?
If you are unsure what these terms mean you should probably contact your host. If you still need help you can always visit the WordPress Support Forums.

I switched my old phone to a new one and forgot to take the 2FA authentication for my wordpress site with me…

So now I′m actually locked out from my site′s backend and the key is within…

How can I access my site′s backend again without 2fa to initiate the authentication anew…?!

wordpress admin session timed out frequently

Hello,
I am having my website behind the AWS load balancer and installed w3 total cache into it used for mainly object caching using Redis. But now my WordPress backend showing very frequently session timed out. I am not able to create any post it showing session timed out in between post-editing.
Please suggest what can I do now to solve this?

How to change the URL of category

I will like to change the URL of the various categories of my site to this schema:

two47news.com/categoryname E.g. two47news.com/tips.

Currently, the URLs show as two47news.com/category/categoryname E.g. two47news.com/category/tips

This does not affect the individual stories under each category, which show this schema: two47news.com/category/postname E.g.
https://two47news.com/tips/atm-services-atm-transactions-cash-machine-withdrawal/

I am totally baffled as to while the category appears as it does, which I suspect is also behind Breadcrumb errors that my Google Search Console highlights but that will another thread.

I will also like to solve this problem without the use of a plugin. If you can point me on where to go to solve the problem and what to do, that will be awesome.

Please, every useful advice will be appreciated. Also, please note that I am not really a technical person and rely on the community and Google to sort issues I encounter on the site.

How to update sitemap programmatically with google xml sitemap plugin?

I am developing a wordpress website for a client. Client will be able to insert posts using custom designed frontend. As soon as end user will hit submit button, I insert the post contents using wp_insert_post function. I’ve completed the website but I am wondering that after inserting the post contents programmatically, google xml sitemap plugin is not adding the new posts to sitemap.xml

Is there any hook or method to insert the new post entry into sitemap.xml file? Any help in this regard will be highly appreciated.

Server Not Found Error when accessing wordpress blog

When I try to access my blog (https://equestrianwriter.com) I get a Sever Not Found error (no error number). My blog is self hosted through BlueHost. I called them but they say everything is fine and they can see everything from their end. At first it was just when accessing the backend, but now I can’t see the public frontend view either.

My regular browser is Firefox. It does the same thing on Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and all browsers on 3 different computers.

They say it must be the internet connection but my internet connection is fine. I have no problems anywhere else on the internet with mine or any other computer.

I was advised to do a traceroute test by BlueHost (see permalink below), but I have no idea how to interpret the results. I assume all the “no responses” are bad, but I don’t know how to fix them.
