XML ERROR in BackWPup

Hi,

I tried today to make my first successful backup using BackWPup.

I experienced one error that concerns me:

WARNING: XML ERROR (26): Entity ‘oacute’ not defined

I followed a tutorial from this video – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3N9FbmBuaac&ab_channel=OSTraining

Does anyone know how to solve this problem and what caused this error?

Hi
My WPbackup is hung while it compression my files to Gzip
There seems to be a relevant folder on ftp but is it ok?
here is the error log below.
Could it be my php memory limit or maybe a permission issue?

I had a problem restoring a backup and it turns out it wasn’t this plugin causing it but tech support still help point me in the right direction to find the problem. I highly recommend it to backup your WordPress site.

Error while trying online backup to 100MB space (courtesy: Backup Technology):
< SSL certificate problem, verify that the CA cert is OK. Details: error:14090086:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE:certificate verify failed>>

I contacted my server host, it says: “We do not support 3rd party applications.”

Approached the architect of the backup-plugin, and was advised to post the Query here.

I did some online research and found that similar Error had occurred in respect of another plugin — whose architect advised all its users:
Please try changing line 40 of the gcalendar-wrapper.php from this:-

$result = $request->request($calUrl);

to this:-

$result = $request->request($calUrl, array(‘sslverify’ => false));

And its users reported that it works! Chivalrous Volunteers required to document as to which file(s) of wpbackupplugin should be modified and precise details of the workable modification, please!

If you install this Plugin it will disable your blog. The solution is to use your server backend access to delete this plugin from the plugins directory. The blog should return to normal after this plugin is deleted.
