Is there a way to stop that one from going?
]]>For gmail, registration is seamless. But for other email providers like outlook and yahoo. Activation email is not being sent out from wordpress.
Website is hosted on IONOS. We have WP SMTP Mail installed but its error is not being shown in logs. Our SMTP Host is IONOS as well.
Any help would be appreciated! We cannot currently track which emails are being sent and are not.
Ive added Paid Membership Pro to a website.
The newly signed up customer gets automatically added as a member under the membership tab but they are also automatically added under the user tab as a subscriber.
WordPress sends out an additional email saying the user aka the newly signed up customer needs to verify their login attempt once they have subbed but if you click on the link in the email it directs the customer to the actual WordPress admin login page which is incorrect, they should never have access to the backend they are customers. The customer does also receive an email to confirm their membership.
How can I stop WordPress from automatically sending that email out or registering my new membership members as wordpress backend users?
Ive tried changing roles ect makes no difference it keeps registering my new members as WordPress users, if i delete the customer under the user tab their sub also gets cancelled and they dont show under the membership tab anymore but the order shows. I need WordPress to stop sending out that email with the admin login link.
]]>Received an email today from Google stating:
“To help keep your account secure, Google will no longer support the use of third-party apps or devices which ask you to sign in to your Google Account using only your username and password. Instead, you’ll need to sign in using Sign in with Google or other more secure technologies, like OAuth 2.0.”
Will this affect “Easy WP SMTP”?
Thanks.

but when i changed it to [email protected]
.I set up WP Forms for my blog’s “Contact Us” page. When I fill out the form and click “Submit” I get the expected automated response. However, no email arrives in my inbox. It is not in the Spam folder either.
I have installed the WP Mail SMTP plugin and completed the detailed instructions for “How to Securely Send WordPress Emails Using Gmail SMTP with WP Mail SMTP”
Under >settings>WP Mail SMTP>Email Test, I fill in the recipient email address and click send Email. It says the email was sent successfully, and I do indeed receive the email at the location where I sent it.
However, when filling out the WP Form on the Contact Us page I am still receiving nothing in my inbox.
