WordPress like button disappeared on the reader of wordpress.com

Hi all,

now that I’am self hosted, people can’t like anymore my article on the wordpress.com feed.
I speak about wordress like button, not FB like one.

When you click on my post it works, but on the wordpress.com reader, the button doesn’t show up…

Any possibility to make it appear again ?

WordPress "Like" button on comments (not Facebook Like!)

Hi there.

I’m new on www.ads-software.com and in the early stages of migrating my blog from wordpress.com to my own domain.

The (fairly new) WordPress “Like” button on comments (not a Facebook button, but for anyone) is probably the wordpress.com feature I’ll miss the most, and I wonder if there is a plugin which can do the same thing.

The comment “Like” button is great because it allows me to respond immediately to a comment on a post and show that I’ve read and appreciate it, without having to say anything. Typically I reply after a few days when I have thought about it, but the button takes away the pressure to “say something” just to be responsive. All it does is display a little blue star that turns yellow if I click “Like”, and next to it a number that shows how many have liked the comment. Simple but brilliant.

So does anyone knows if this feature already exist as a WordPress plugin? I hoped it was included in “Jetpack”, but it is not:-( (Jetpack is great otherwise)

How to make WordPress Like Button with Super Cache Plugin

Hi there,

I am using the mod_rewrite option of the Super Cache Plugin and it seems to prevent the WordPress Like Button to load (I guess there is a conflict between cached files and the JS loading the button).

The button displays permanently “chargement…” (“loading” in French)… but it’s not loading.

I removed the WP Like Button until I find a solution.

Do you know how to fix it ?

Hi,

Im am using WP Super Cache, set to Mod_rewrite cache option as it is recommanded.
I am also using the Jetpack plugin, through which I added the “WordPress Like button” at the bottom of my articles.

It seems there is a conflict between the 2 plugins because on some pages, like this one (https://www.awily.fr/articles/55), the WordPress Like button isn’t loading. It’s displaying “chargement…” (loading in French).

Is there a way to use WP Super Cache and the WordPress like button ?

I am having issues with my WordPress like button. Not a facebook, linked etc. type of like button. The like button just for WordPress blog users. I have recently uploaded a new theme for my blog, and then it stopped working. The like button currently shows loading… but never displays. I have it disabled right now, so if you would like to see it in action, I will enable it.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
