Which is right and how do I make them match?
My wp-config.php files shows:
define( ‘WP_AUTO_UPDATE_CORE’, true );
for both websites so I’m not sure why the versions are not matching.
Both use Shopkeeper theme, one website is a retail based site and the other is a services based site, both with Woocommerce installed.
Can anyone shed some light on this? Will I have to go through the annoying and painstaking process of upgrading WordPress manually? (Hopefully not, the instructions don’t seem straightforward)
]]>i am trying to create a gallery page for my website, and i cannot get wp TO SAVE any changes i make to a blank page. Every time i put the gallery widget in and click update it just gets rid of all changes and makes it a blank page.
I do not know what is causing this?? i am a total noob and this is making it impossible for me to follow you tube tutorials for my theme etc.
I am using ibuki theme and i DO have a flag that says WPBakery Visual Composer is out of date, but I cannot update it for free because it came with my theme and WP BAKERY is stupid and says that i have to wait for theme creator to push update to me. idk if that is what is causing the issue or if it is on WP side.
changes and updates were working FINE a few months ago. But i also notice WP updated recently??
any help can be useful i really need to try and make a gallery. but if i can’t figure it out i maybe just have to go to another platform for my website.
]]>I have a strange problem where WordPress won’t update on my MacBook. The changes are seen on my computer, but in reality it is not reflected on my website. So when I check from mobile, I can see that my post is not published, my plugins are not added or deleted etc.
So when I published a new post from another computer it got reflected.I can see it on my website. I tried other browsers, but has the same result.
I contacted Apple, did whatever they said to fix, updated to latest software. Now they say it must not be a problem with the MacBook, but WordPress.
And that post can’t be seen on Pinterest too (only from Mac). In fact, if I typed the link of the post on my browser on Mac, it fails to load. but I can view it from other devices.
I am at a loss of what to do. It was working fine, until I moved to another host. I don’t understand if this is a problem with the MAC, the host or WordPress.
Any help will be greatly appreciated as I can’t work anymore due to this problem. Tried all the cache clearing too. Please help!

]]>I am having trouble updating my WordPress site to WordPress Version 4.4.1
My automatic updates have failed, so I tried to manually update the site by clicking the “Update Now” icon. However, when I attempt to update the site, nothing happens. No error messages, just a long long wait for nothing. I’m not sure whats causing this issue. I tried to separately update a few plugins but the same thing happened.
I would appreciate any and all help. Thanks guys and gals!
]]>I previously was on 4.2.2 and had the same issue. I manually did an update via SSH/FTP hoping that would fix this issue going forward and it didn’t.
Here’s a screenshot of the issue:
https://i.steppic.com/e/0/0/1/e001bc646568e7cceadec368c3a560d0/0.png
I got the “An automated wordpress update has failed to complete” error. Anytime I click on the “Please attempt the update again”, it just reloads the same page.
I could not find any “.maintenance” file in the Word Press root directory.
Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
]]>I have been updating my wordpress site https://24days2skinny.com almost always on my desktop at home. I realized last week that on my iphone my site was showing an older non updated site. March archive missing, widgets wrong, etc… when I turned off wifi on my phone my correct site showed up. this was happening on other phones in the house and tablets.
Talk to ISP-nothing they said was wrong on their end.
Bought a new laptop yesterday for vacation got to my destination. Turned on laptop went to website and again OLD non-updated site showed up on NEW laptop! Thought it may be Chrome (because of saved settings)
tried IE and at first my correct side showed then 2 min later I was asked to re login to my WordPress site (it signed me out) I logged in and Old site showed up on IE.
It’s like I have 2 separate sites that don’t sync!
The really crazy part is that I will get legitimate comments on the old site that don’t show up on new site and vice versa..
I’m on Window 8. I’m using Thesis 2.1 theme. Not sure what else you need.
My updated site has March Archive on it which is in sidebar toward bottom has just one post. That’s the best way to check which version of my site your seeing. any suggestions???
