I’m currently on Woocommerce v3.8 but still on WP 5.5.3.

In this thread an apparent Woocommerce support rep says “this issue will be resolved in WooCommerce 4.8.0”, yet a user claims it’s still happening in Woo 3.8 and WP 5.6.

Can someone please give me some piece of mind on this? Can I get a straight answer? The jquery issue has been very prominent since October, and I cannot imagine Woocommerce is still not updated to comply. But I would like some reassurance before updating to WP 5.6 and ditching the crutch Jquery migrate plugin.

i have some problems with your Plug In. Which i really like to use because it helps a lot.

Problem 1:
There is a conflict between Thirsty Affiliates and the Plug In WP Coupons & Deals, which can be found here: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-coupons-and-deals/ I have written there already that there is a conflict between the both of you, this is the related Topic: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/problems-since-wp-5-6-with-discription-fields/#post-13836348 Basically Your plugin breakst the Text Editor of WP Coupons and Deals. So i can not work on Texts as loog TA is active.

Problem 2:

since the last Update from WP to it’s newest Version (5.6) the Administration for Coupons is not working correctly anymore (i have deactived alle other Plug Ins but no solution).

I can enter a Title, Date, Link and Discount Text of the Button. BUT the Discription of the Coupon is ALWAYS empty. If i enter a Text it will not be saved after i save the Coupon and then the Field of the Text Discription is empty again. Also the Editor Buttos have NO effect if i try to use them.

This problem is also present in Coupons which are “old”, as soon i click into it, the Discription field is empty, if i don’t save the Coupon the OLD Discription Text is still in the preview of the Coupon, but if i try to enter a new text the discription field will be empty and in the Previw the Text is empty then as well.

I have used this plugin on lot of websites, and its simply Awesome!

I just wanted to confirm that when this plugin will officially start showing compatibility with WP 5.6 in the plugins dashboard.

I just updated the theme I use with my WP website, but now I face a compatibility issue with that theme and WP 5.6 (the theme was working fine with WP 5.5).

So I asked help to the theme developper, here is his answer:
“To better assist you please provide your wp-admin details (access to your WordPress dashboard) and we will check it.”

I’m feeling confused about this demand: obviously if I give my admin credentials to the developper team, there is a risk. What if he messes up with my website? What if my credentials fall into the wrong hands?

I plan to create a new user instead, with editor rights, but I’m not sure it will be sufficient for his need.
Do I need to create an administrator user account instead?

I’m just not sure how to proceed.

I just updated to WP 5.6. Since then the snippet of the footnote which pops up in the text when touched with the mouse is not showing up anymore. I only can jump directly to the footnote.
What can I do that the “text-snippet” of the footnote pops up again?

Browser is Firefox.
