1. WP Audio Player allows setting custom media location (even outside the current site) and Haiku doesn’t, leading to incompatibility.
2. WP Audio Player has a shortcode format with a pipe (|) for titles, like so [audio:file.mp3|titles=Extract 2.1]. That format is not recognised by Haiku, leading to incompatibility.
Since the Haiku player isn’t that easy as a replacement I find myself exploring other plugins. A shame, because I love the minimalism.

]]>I want to stream music with the WP-Audioplayer. Ive installed the audioplayer correctly, its working perfectly. BUT how can I stream music that i’ve uploaded in the Library (www.website.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/file.mp3)?? The audio player says “File Not Found”…
So I need to make these files public?
Thanks
]]>I’ve installed WP AudioPlayer, unzipped the file, put it on WP-content – Plugins and activated it alright, but I still doesn’t work. I’m on a self hosted blog. When I make insert audio and open the Media Library, I can’t see any audio files, only images, how come? and I can’t even see a AudioPlayer button as seen on the Plugin Usage page.
What should I do, I can’t upload a file bigger than 2Mb from my hard drive, and I when I write the URL https://alojamentos29.com/~pg20395/wp-content/audio/music.mp3 the only thing that show is the code, not the player…
Help? Someone
Thanks
Basically I have installed the wp audioplayer plugin on the latest wordpress, and all worked fine. The little player shows up nicely.
After, I have installed the Grid-a-licious Theme and the player it’s not showing anymore, I get a warning message instead that says that I haven’t installed flash. (which it’s not true, I have installed the latest plugin).
Any help would be much appreciated!!!
