I have installed your plugin and bought WP Media Folder plugin, from Joomunited.
I have read the documentation, but folders are not synchronizing:
A. The folders made in server (or using your plugin, writing the filepath for a file) are not appearing in WordPress Media.
B. The folders created with Joomunited plugin (WP Media Folder) are not appearing in server.
In the settings of your plugin, I have clicked in “Move existing media”.
In the settings of WP Media Folder, I have activated the Server Folder Sync.
The web is complete new and fresh wordpress instalation:
–Theme used is Twenty Twenty.
–plugins activated are Limit “Login Attempts Reloaded”, “WP Media folder” and “WP Media folders”
Thanks!

]]>I’m from JoomUnited team. Some users report that there was a conflict between our plugin, WP Media folder, and wpMandrill. We’ve identified the problem and we will add a fix in the upcoming version.
Plugin: https://www.joomunited.com/wordpress-products/wp-media-folder
The message was:
Mandrill: wp_mail has been declared by another process or plugin, so you won't be able to use Mandrill until the problem is solved.

]]>I know there were already post to this topic, but they all got closed. I also read that a folder structure would be to complicated for the WP user, but I (and many others) can’t understand this.
I can understand that you won’t change your entire month/year based upload system (or just everthing in “uploads”), but why wouldn’t you at least give the user some virtual folders ?
Just add one simple button to the media library to create a folder. If a users don’t want to use folders, he maybe won’t even notice. But someone who needs folders to find his stuff will love this feature to create “virtual” folders.
The only plugin that does this job is “WP Media Folder”. That costs 15$ and I don’t think a WordPress user who just wants to organize his files like in a…regular media library…should pay this price, for such a basic function.
I really hope that this feature will be added one day, and I think I’m not the only one.
]]>I am using “WP Media Folder” to help me organize my media files.
I want to drop all my old newsletter PDF files into a “folder” named “archive” in WP Media Folder and then want Document Gallery to pick them up.
WP Media Folder just shows me folders on the screen, but organizes under the surface using categories in a custom taxonomy:
register_taxonomy( ‘wpmf-category’, ‘attachment’, array( ‘hierarchical’ => true, ‘show_in_nav_menus’ => false, ‘show_ui’ => false ) );
When I create a page
[dg taxon_name=wpmf-category category=’Archive’]
I get the response,
“The taxon value entered, “taxon_name”, is not valid.
Archive is not a valid term name in category.”
How would I get to my uploaded documents from DG?
Thanks for any help!
Georg
