Add Link to Homepage Banner Image

So I’m using “Full Width Static Image, with Border” for the banner option in the WP opulus panel under Appearance. I want the image to be clickable (add a link to it).

I add the image via the Featured Image option on the homepage page. However, the is no option for adding a link.

How do I do this?

Plugins Not Working in Pages or Posts

I have tried adding a plugin into a post or page in this theme… and it won’t show at all. The plugin works great in the sidebar widget. But when I try adding the shortcode into a page or post, it won’t work.

WP Opulus theme how to assign Feature columns to the pages

Just installed WP Opulus theme https://pets.orbithealth.co.nz/

But have a problem to link Feature Columns with the pages I like. Went through the manual ( see below) but cannot find that DROPDOWN to select the pages.

Does anyone have a clue where to find that dropdown to select the page I want?

3) Display Featured Pages: The three images you see below the action text are the featured pages. Select Show Featured
to display the three featured pages. You can choose which pages you want displayed in options 4-6 of the Frontpage
settings in the Nimbus Panel

4) Left Feature Column: From the dropdown, select the page you want displayed in the left feature column. The image
will be the feature image associated with that page.

5) Center Feature Column: From the dropdown, select the page you want displayed in the center feature column. The

Date picker

Hi,

I am using Gravity Forms and it seems the WP Opulus theme has a conflict with their date picker. I have been doing some research and it appears this may be a jquery issue (possibly you both use same code for date picker?).

If you scroll down, go to the 3rd page of the form by clicking ‘Next’ twice you will see what I mean. The calendar does not pop up when you click on the icon.

Is there some custom CSS I can add or can I remove some code from the theme files that will allow the Gravity forms date picker to work?

Length of excerpts on front page

I have just started designing a new website and found the WP Opulus Theme very helpful so far. Unfortunately, I haven’t found out how to set the length of the excerpts on the front page. At the moment, they vary in length (see www.youtubeacademy.de), which makes it look rather messy. Is there a way to fix this?

Can I remove the "Home" drop down menu from the home page?

I feel like it’s duplicative to have the link to the Home page in the title as well as the Home drop down menu (which has nothing under it). Is there a way I can take this off?

I opted to add/show the Google+ icon at the bottom next to the Twitter one but it is not showing after saving. The Twitter icon shows and works fine, but I cannot get the Google+ one to show. Thoughts? Thanks in-advance.

Remove text under featured image on WP Opulus?

I can’t determine if it is possible to remove text under featured images on my frontpage in WP Opulus. The “read more” text is fine, but I don’t want the weird condensed text from my pages that shows up under my three featured headers.

Menu Buttons not working in mobile

Hey!

So on my website I have 4 or so menu options and when I test on my iPhone it brings up a little box with 3 lines that looks like a drop down menu… Unfortunately it does nothing onClick. I need this to work so that users can browse through all of our content.

Please let me know if there is a fix for this
