When set-up correctly I don’t have to worry about backups. I have recently moved Hosting companies, it was a breeze to full backup (just in case) and know that I could do a full restore. With Dropbox, I can keep my website backups and media all in one place. I can even schedule posts to that media to social media.

I couldnt find the plugin so I had to download and install a copy from another site.. But my site’s been down for two days and I still can’t get it to recover. Please help.

Great plugin BTW saved me from several broken or corrupt WordPress issues.
Now I can just restore a full backup set to get me back to where I was.
Some other wordpress backup solutions don’t even offer a automated restore option!

Feature Request: Enable manual naming of each backup set as well as date and time. e.g “Before new plugin install” / “Before upgrade to WP 4.1.1”

Really would help users keep track as sometimes you need to cycle backwards then forwards again to get to the right place in time when things were working properly in WordPress.

How do I restore a backup up

After I upgraded to 4.4 I had nothing but problems. At first neither the website or wordpress logon would work. After I deleted the plugins folder the website worked was missing a lot of things. Everything I activate Jet Pack the website does not work. Before the update I backed up the files using WP Backup. I was finally able to install the WP Backup plug in but I do not find how to restore my backup files. They do not show up in backups. I have a copy of the backup on my computer but don’t know where to put it so I can restore the data base. I really need the website back to how it was before I upgraded.

I have been having trouble restoring the full content of my WP site. I reloaded the database backup via phpMyAdmin console and the full content directories are present on the server but for some reason I still only have my landing page and some widgets. The menus structure is there but when navigating through it, pages are not found. My WP install on the back end shows no posts, pages or anything. I thought that the database backup would restore all this since I can see the content there? Can anyone help?
