FYI.. I was able to remove the sample personality test from the Blog Page even when I use a static homepage (the “publish on the homepage” metabox is not available if you currently use a static front and blog page) by doing the following:
After I installed this plug-in and published the sample test, I went to settings -> reading on the dashboard and changed my selection from using a static page to “your latest posts” and saved, then went to tests -> and selected “edit” on the personality test. The “publish to home page” box was visible and I unchecked it and then hit “update”. I then returned to the settings -> reading and changed my selection back to “static page” and reset my home page and blog page as previous and saved those settings. When I reloaded by blog page on the front end, the personality test was no longer visible as blog post.

Hi
I created a Test, no problem.
It is called “test”. Problem is this post shows up on my Blog Page.
Is that normal?

How can I show the Test post but not have it listed on the Blog Page? (I assume because WP thinks it’s a Post that it should be on the Blog page). I cannot set status to draft or else it won’t show at all.

How to publish test

Hi there,

This plugin is exactly what I needed! I just created a test that I want to show on the homepage on a particular place. I looked for a shortcode, but couldn’t find one.

You explain:

“Tests are treated for WordPress like posts — they appear on home page and inside their categories pages if selected. But if you don’t want your test to appear on home page you can uncheck “Publish on the home page” in “Publish” metabox and this particular test will not appear on homepage.”

But I don’t want to use categories and tags. I just want to make it appear on 1 spot. (And by the way: when I select ‘show on homepage’ and hit the save button and Ctrl+F5 on the homepage, nothing changes.)

I’d really love to take a look at the test, so I can judge if I compiled it correctly.
