Site Editor hangs after WP upgrade – AH01623: client method denied by server

Hello,

When I upgrade WP from 6.5.5 to 6.6.2, the Site Editor hangs: when I click on “Appearance” in WP admin and then on “Editor” the Site Editor hangs. The sidebar on the left appears, but on the right there is an empty screen with a progress bar that gets stuck at about 25%.

In the error log I find the following error message:

This happens on the default WP with the default theme 2024, but also with other block themes I tested such as 2022 and 2023.

Rollback to 6.5.5 and the problem disappears.

After upgrading the site to WP 6.3, the Item Specific fields are no longer imported after selecting eBay category for the product.

PHP downgraded by plugin

I am running on an old PHP. I reached out to my host and they say they are running the latest, so I may have a plugin that is forcing me on an older version. Does anyone know what might cause this?

After upgrade to WP 5.3, theme (paid) works, WP-Admin works only TXT and links

As you can see from the images uploaded to Dropbox, after upgrading to WP 5.3, frontend works fine BUT wp-admin is showing only TXT and links.

look @ ishot-1558.jpg is the wp-admin. Seems like CSS are broken. Everything works.

– WP Product Review Lite – Version 3.7.2

Tried to deactivate 1 by 1 (plugins) but nothing changed.

Errors after WP 5.2 Upgrade

I have several websites with the TML plugin. I have created my own pages for login, lost password and password reset. Each page makes use of the [theme-my-login action=””] shortcode; they all work fine.

After upgrading one of these websites to WP 5.2, I noticed that my login page started out with an error message. I tells me that both the email and password fields are empty. Filling out the fields and clicking submit works fine, and I can login. But even if I go back to that page, the same error messages are displayed.

I went to one of my other websites, currently on WP 5.1.1 and verified that I do NOT have this problem on the login page. Then I upgraded to WP 5.2 and went back to the login page. Same error messages, although the form works fine.

Just to ensure I wasn’t going insane, I went to a third website that was still on WP 5.1.1 and had TML installed. No error messages before upgrading, double error messages after upgrading to 5.2.

I’ve tried de-activating and reactivating TML; doesn’t make any difference.

I’m not sure what is causing this problem but it is definitely repeatable on my sites. If anyone else is seeing this and knows of a fix, I’d like to hear it.

Now it destroys my menus but I would not want to lokk for another plugin…

unable to reactivate woocommerce after wp update

sorry if this isnt the right place.

just very recently updated my wp version to 4.7
now for some reason woocommerce deactivated and will not reactivate.
i get the following error.
Fatal error: Call to a member function get_base_country() on a non-object in /home/sites/mxyz.co.uk/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/class-wc-payment-gateways.php on line 84
any help would be gratefully received,

All stats lost when reactivating jetpack

I recently had to do a manual upgrade to the new version of WP which had me deactivating my plugins. When I went to re-activate my plugins, my Jetpack Stats are now completely gone and I cannot figure out what to do to get them back. My site address is www.thegreatsouthernbrainfart.com.

Hi there
as a new site owner (finally with full control) I’m little scared from messing things up.
im using version 4.4.2 and just noticed that there is newer version.
the reason for this post is cause i saw that it say my site will be down during updates.. so I decided not to take the risk (took some time and money to get my site to where it is now..)
but just now joined the forum community so i figured it not gonna hurt asking someone who know better then me? is it safe to just press upgrade now or is there anything i need to do before , or maybe just leave current version running? would love to know what you think

what is this 'database update required' ? now?

Suddenly I can’t access my WP control panel. when i try, i get a page showing that says “database update required” … i don’t want to do this now, as my internet service has been throttled and it might not go well until i get my speed back … plus it’s my bedtime … is there any way for me to avoid this requirement?

Also, is this “database update” different than or the same as me upgrading to WP 4.4?

Don’t i need to do stuff first, like back up my website files? and deactivate all my plug-ins? I can’t do those things, since i can’t get onto my control panel …

fyi, i am using WP 4.3, and i use just the default / classic theme of WP for my site www.lewiscountysirens.com … and i am a rookie.
