I have this one question that is important to my current 2 weeks deadline project… How to add custom post/page status that is visible in Edit panel and how to handle that status once when post got it?
And please, no custom_fields related solutions. It is too complicated to my client
Hope there is good solution for it. I love WP and I am using it for years (remember that v1.5?)! when I get more free time I plan to support it like you all guyz
Here is a screenshot of what my page looks like. https://temp.stelth2000inc.com/screen/generalsettings.png.
I am running PHP 5.3, Apache 2.2.11, MySQL 5.0.77
I have a slight problem with the more feature on my site;
philippines-virtual-guide.com
The problem is that on the end of each post extract/snipet that is displayed on the home page, there is [….] and most of my members are expecting this to be a clickable link to read that whole post ! The trouble is there is no link at all, the only way to access the whole post is to click the title and there is nothing to indicate that is what users should do.
One other problem I have is with WordPress 2.8, I tried to upgrade but when I did it totally disabled all java script on my site, the feature box and tabbed side bar widget were as if jammed and the only way I could get them all back working again was to install a back up I had taken. I have since disabled the tabbed side bar widget, but am still using the feature box slider.
I am not 100% certain that it is WordPress that is causing these problems & not the theme I am using, however I have to start somewhere so I’d be very grateful if anyone can point me to a solution for either of these issues.
Oh by the way the theme I am using is Blu Mag although it has been changed quite a bit.
Thanks Steve

Any thoughts on a fix will be welcomed.

just experienced a mayor problem with get_categories() in my themes under WordPress 2.8. The function seems to work right in any template file. But if you put

<?php print_r(get_categories()); ?>

in the functions.php it will return
Array
(
[errors] => Array
(
[invalid_taxonomy] => Array
(
[0] => Invalid Taxonomy
))
[error_data] => Array
(
))
In the theme options page I use a select input field to let the user pick categories. This select field is empty now due to the error.
Anybody has the same issue and an idea how to solve this? Thanks in advance!
Simon
I (unfortunately) upgraded and now K2’s embedded AJAX features don’t work.
1) Live Search has gone from live search to an ordinary box with a Go button underneath.
2) No more Rolling Archives slider.
Is this going to be fixed in a later WP update? Or should I fix it myself (and if so how)? Or should I go back to 2.7?
Thanks for any help.
