One of the most-frequently asked questions on my journal is how I have PDF support working “so seamlessly.”

I use a plug-in called WP2PDF.

Unfortunately, WP2PDF, often misbehaves and is non-trivial to install and configure. The following tutorial details some of the things I have done–including changes to its code–to make it work.

Export WordPress contents to a PDF

I’ve created a new plugin that allows exporting WordPress contents to a PDF file at the push of a button. It is also possible to customize the PDF output according to own needs and taste. The PDF rendering is done by DOMPDF and the R&OS class, so my work was mainly the the WordPress integration.

Apart from the plugin, there also is a demo theme and a detailed Howto, which should make integration into own templates as easy as possible.

Please try it and tell me what you think.

wp2pdf doesn’t generate the proper url

The url ends like this .phpp57 instead of like this .php?p=57

Anybody know how to fix this ?

Hi all!
I search for any plugin that could export every post to pdf.
I tried wp2pdf, but it doesn’t work well in WP 2.0.3.
You know something different to try?

Since I often get asked how I’ve gotten PDF support working on my journal, I finally decided to write up a small “How To”-style document on what needs to be done.

It’s been about a month or two since I explored this issue … still looking for a way to allow visitors to view posts as PDFs. Tried the WP2PDF plugin, but it’s pretty buggy – particularly with really long posts. Does anybody have a good solution?

wp2pdf problem with accents

Hi all,

I’ve installed wp2pdf (wordpress 1.5) however most of my posts should up incorrectly on the resulting pdf since I have a lot of accents on my posts… things like à á è é , etc show up incorrecly. Is there a workaround or any other plugin that is able to handle accents correctly?

has anybody successfully integrated WP2PDF? I’ve got it up and running, and it appears to work with short posts, but not with really long ones. Do you know if there is an effective size limit, and if so, how to circumvent it?

WP 2.0 and wp2pdf – problem with images

with wp 2.0 the PDFs which are generated by wp2pdf contains no more images (my blog images has a absolute path)

any idea?
