I have WPBackItUp Premium Beta installed on two of my sites and am really loving it. It saves me the trouble of downloading and then uploading to the cloud. Now I can save all my back ups on DropBox! Yay!

Parse error after update

After updating wpbackitup, I am getting the following error when attempting to go to my dashboard:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /home/content/79/10035879/html/wp-content/plugins/wp-backitup/lib/includes/class-api.php on line 213
I can’t get into the dashboard to be able to edit anything.

When backing up my site, I get this pretty often:

Error: (2121) Unable to backup your plugins. Please try again

The workaround to resolve the issue appears to be ensuring your plugins are up to date. Once my plugins are up to date, I have no problems running the backup.

They grabbed on and didn’t let go.

I talked to five different vendors about a strange backend problem with WordPress that was preventing me from administering the site entirely. All other more or less said, “Sorry. It’s not our issue.” But not with WPBackItUp. Even when it became evident that their plugin wasn’t the culprit, they continued to help. We probably exchanged about 20 emails in a single day before they identified a cache setting in cPanel that was to blame. Now how many vendors would do that? So if you’re wondering why I would write this review, it now should be obvious.
