Why plugin removed temporarly “Widgets for SiteOrigin” by wpinked.

Hallo,

I use The WP Plugin “widgets-for-siteorigin” By WPinked on a lot of sites of mine. And as I can remember, this plugin had thousands of ative installation.

Now I found, that the plugin is no longer available and the following text on www.ads-software.com: “This plugin has been closed as of March 10, 2020 and is not available for download. This closure is temporary, pending a full review.”

Maybe someone has more detailed information on the closure. Are there any security issues with this plugi? Is the closure really temporary?

Inked Blog linking issue

Hi,

Using the free version of Inked Blog… The Read More button only links to the page the widget is on but not to the correct blog entry/post.

I have this problem since the last Update to the newest Version 1.3.7.
Would be nice, if there would be any advice, or help with the bug or Update which resolves the problem.

I tried to get an answer on the forum on www.wpinked.com, but did not get an answer for one week now. Mor people seem to have the same problem. I am not the first who writes on the forum on the developer website on this topic.

Possible conflict w/wpinked Widgets for Site Origin due to box-sizing tag

This may be all for naught, but since it might help someone in the same predicament as myself:

I was trying to use the tab widget from wpinked’s Widgets for Site Origin plugin with a site built around the Photolite theme, but the tabs kept overlapping under the text to their right, as follows:

I verified this problem also exists with an unmodified version of Photolite along with a few other modified versions of Photolite I run on my own personal sites (all as child themes, of course).

This said, I was able to fix the problem by inserting the following code in the child theme’s CSS:


*,*::after,*::before {
    box-sizing: inherit;
}

It didn’t affect anything else on any of the sites I tested it on. With any luck, this should work for anyone running this combination. Good luck!

Inked Blog: ‘Build post query’ button not working

Love the widget bundle, and right now I’m looking to create several different pages of blog posts based off of different categories, the Inked Blog widget sounds perfect for my needs but I can’t get at taxonomy preferences etc…

When I click the “3 Build post query” button under the “blog post loop” menu nothing happens. no popup, no options, nothing.

Blog not displaying properly when in a column in Page Builder

Hi, I love the plugin. It looks like it will offer some great ways to display content. I have run into an issue with blog widget however when I try to use it with Page Builder. On my the front page of a site I am setting up we are using Page Builder to divide the page into two columns. The rightmost column will function as a sidebar while the one on the left is to contain the blog posts. I am trying to use your blog widget and have the image to the left of the content, however, when it displays the title and excerpt are below the image instead of to the right even though there appears to be more than enough room. If I remove the second column in page builder the problem goes away. Not sure if you would have any idea what is causing this. I would very much like to use this widget, but I just can’t seem to get it to display how it is supposed to. Thanks.
