I want to give an ‘Editor’ the ability to work with wysiwyg-wigets. When logged in as Editor the ‘Widget Blocks’ shows up but can’t be accessed. How can I change this?

First of all, great plugin! I have installed it on my site with WPML, activated the translatione in the widgets and done the translations, but when I change language on the site, the widgets remain the same? Is it something more I have to do to make them work?

Hey Danny,

Thanks for this awesome plugin! I’m having a really easy time with setup and styling, which is, of course, a delight. One small piece of functionality would really kick its usefulness through the roof for me: to link the widget title to custom content. I’m using it right now (with Widgets on Pages to build a homepage, and it’d save me an awful lot of excess buttons in the design if the titles would easily link around the site.

To say thanks (for what you’ve done, and what I’m asking for), I just sent you a donation.

wysiwyg-wigets share plugin problem

Hello,

I am confronted to a problem by using wysiwig widgets and the sharing plugin by Jetpack.

Theres an option to exclude the custom post-type wysiwyg-widget plus an option at the posts itself to check or off-check using sharing-buttons.
Both options are not working. So at the widgets in single page view the sharing-buttons are shown at the widgets.
When I off-check the option at a wysiwyg post and save it, the status of the checkbox falls back to checked.

Could it be a chmod-problem of any of the wysiwyg-plugin files or sth like that?
Any ideas are welcome.

Not working with Responsive theme

I had high hopes for this plugin however it doesn’t work with the Responsive theme. Here are the errors I see:

So, I’m off to find a better-working WYSIWYG widget

[WYSIWIYG WIdget] Forces paragraphs instead of line breaks

I’m having trouble with the WYSIWYG plugin forcing paragraph breaks in the text whenever text is updated. Usually, I can go back and delete all of the extra spaces and use “shift_enter” to restore line breaks, and _usually_ that works, but not always. It seems especially problematic on the sidebars, but the same problem exists in the main (center) content area as well. Any suggestions?

(I’ve only used this with WP 3.3.1, so I can’t say if it worked before that update). The site is https://mentalhealthcrisisalliance.org.

WISYWIG plugin disables widgets in dashboard in wp 3.3.1

Hey as the topic applies, I’m having a problem with all my widgets being undraggable and disabled on my dashboard while having this plugin active. Can you please lead me in a right direction as I would really need to get this fixed. Making it inactive is currently not an option for me as the site is built using this plugin by a former developer in the company that I work on.

Using wysiwyg widgets 1.2.0 with WP 3.3.1.
1.2.0 provides complete display of Ultimate TinyMCE editor which previous widget build did not. THANK YOU.

Question:
Am using multiple instances of wysiwig, and need titles in widget inventory to keep track of things. Would like to eliminate titles when displayed on individual pages. Is there any way to accomplish this??

Every wysiwyg widget I create has the text in italic, and it doesn’t go away no matter what I do.

This makes it unusable for me. Do you have a fix?
