We’ve been long-time users of the Product Feed PRO for WooCommerce plugin, and it has served us well. However, starting yesterday, we’ve encountered a significant issue when attempting to update the XML feed manually. The update process now causes a critical load on our hosting environment, ultimately leading to a server crash.

Previously, we had the “Change products per batch number” set to 200, and this configuration allowed us to efficiently update five XML feeds on each of our seven websites consecutively. However, in response to the recent problem, we attempted to reduce this value to 50, but it appears to have had no impact on the issue. It’s essential to note that there have been no changes made to our hosting environment, and we have not downgraded our service package.

To illustrate the problem, I have attached a screenshot from our hosting monitoring system, displaying the sharp spikes in both CPU and RAM load during attempts to update the XML feeds. The CPU load graph demonstrates the first part, while the second part visualizes the RAM load. These spikes coincide precisely with our efforts to update the XML feeds.

I’m currently facing issues with importing products from an XML data feed, and I’m hoping you can help me out. My goal is to display these products on catalogus.rbstudio.nl in a similar fashion to how they appear on portal.dmlux.nl, including specifications and variations. Unfortunately, I’m encountering two specific challenges:

1. Adding variations: I’m struggling to add variations correctly to the products. It seems that the variations are not being imported accurately from the XML data feed or there might be issues with displaying them on catalogus.rbstudio.nl.
2. Finding specifications: I’m unable to locate the specifications in the imported data. It appears that the specifications might be missing from the XML data feed or there could be an issue with extracting them during the import process.

I’m seeking expert assistance to determine whether the problem lies within the data itself or if there are steps I can take to resolve it. Therefore, I would greatly appreciate your insights and suggestions.

Hopefully a quick fix but the XML feed begins on Line 2, so line 1 is empty. Causing the error ‘error on line 2 at column 6: XML declaration allowed only at the start of the document’

I’m asking because Pinterest bot can’t load images (190 products out of 319) – Error 4028. Nothing helps, even Crawl-delay, deactivating firewall, adding Pinterest bot IPs to Whitelist etc. I think it is because some request limit.

Our accesslog and errorlog show nothing. Due to accesslog, Pinterest connects only to XML feed, not images.

For some reason, on a daily basis, the site feed [https://www.diabetes.co.uk/news/feed] will error and show nothing on the page. The only way I can fix this is to empty and purge the cache.

Am I doing something incorrectly? How can I stop any cache of the feeds? It’s becoming quite a problem so any help appreciated.

I think the problem is that when a new post is published, the feed either becomes corrupt or does not update. But I have no idea how to investigate.
