You are talking about 100% compatibility with the plugin “BuddyPress Xprofile Custom Field Types”. Unfortunately, we see only one field, and that is Country. All others are not offered as a field.

What are we doing wrong?

Support, I am facing the following two issues. (Please bear with me as I am not that into coding)

1. One of the profile fields accepts oEmbed URL. When a youtube link is given as an input, it does not fit in the section but an extended view shows where a portion of the frame is cut. Please refer https://snipboard.io/luJe81.jpg . Any help on making it fit in the section helps a lot.

2. I am letting user choose Member Types via a field. It is a multi-choice field. If a user selects more than one field, the member types are shown as they should. However, if just a single Member Type is selected, a broken link tag is displayed. refer: https://snipboard.io/7THEB2.jpg

Conditional Logic for GEOmyWP + BP Members Locator

I’m using GEOmyWP + BP Members Locator. They are buddypressThe site is searching/filtering the BuddyPress XProfile fields data. The site has a LOT of variables, and I’m hoping to find a way to make these search parameters conditional logic.

It would only show the fields based on the the options selected, for example:

I’m searching for:
1) Musician
2) Mechanic
3) Lawyer

if #1 is selected, then it shows the appropriate fields:

1) Music Genre (checking this then shows the sub categories: Rock, punk, jazz, etc)
2) Years of Experience (checking this then shows the ranges years)
3) Instruments played (checking this shows wide variety of instruments to select)

Any thoughts or suggestions here? Or any alternative suggestion to get a Buddypress Google map with the ability to search for users with XProfile information?

I am using buddypress and have a xprofile field named”fruits”. This field is a dropdown with options banana, graps, apple, mango. I want a widget on dashboard, in which, total count of the user of banana selected, thus graps selected and so on.

In simple words, on dashboard there will be 4 columns, named
1)banana
2)grapes
3)apple
4)mango
all of them will show total count of the users, who selected them from dropdown.
How can be this please code me.

how to hide buddypress xprofile fields for non member users

I have buddypress installed in wordpress. In member profile there are some xprofile fields. some of from registration page and some of from backend. I want some of these fields hidden for non paid member. After becoming paid member that hidden fields shoud be visible for that user. how can I get this by s2member

Hi I would like to be able to access one or two Xprofile fields from a pages other than edit profile page. will this plugin enable me to do so? it lookd like I’ll be able to display fields but id like to make them editable. the fields in particular will be limited to drop down selections.

I’m attempting to migrate to this plugin, from the old unsupported version. Now, when viewing the xprofile fields, users see links instead of the images. It seems that something is applying an HTML filter, which is wrapping the image field value in an tag.

It’s strange that it displayed perfectly before the migration, but not after. Nothing else was changed on the site. The fields in the database table appear identical when comparing before/after migration.

Any ideas?

(BTW, the site also uses your BuddyPress Member Types Pro premium plugin)
