YASR ratings appear on comments on Mastodon

I use another plugin (Yet Another Star Ratings – YASR) on my blogs, which adds a star rating to posts. The star ratings also appear on the posts on Mastodon, which makes sense. But a rating also appears next to individual comments on Mastodon, which doesn��t make sense, since comments don’t have ratings.

I use another plugin (ActivityPub plugin) on my blogs, which shares blog posts and user comments to the Fediverse (e.g. Mastodon). This includes the yasr rating, which makes sense for posts. But a yasr rating also appears next to individual comments on Mastodon, which doesn’t make sense.

after many practical tests, I verified that your plugin, when manually inserted into the post via gutember (castos), prevents the correct display of the review snippet of https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/yet-another-stars-rating/

however, when the ssp audio player is displayed automatically (just by selecting the audio file) no problem occurs, the snippet is detected correctly

Confusing UI (Which one is 5-star?)

I am running Yasr on several Farsi websites like this. Farsi is a RTL language. In all these websites I see comments from users that says “Oh, we wanted to give five star but it was not clear so we clicked 1 star”. Is there any way that you can address this issue to make it clear for users which one is fifth and which star is first?

Multi Set Not Saving

I’m currently using WP v5.9.3 and YASR v3.0.3. I do not care about visitor votes or overall rating. I am interested in this plugin specifically for the Multi Set option so that editors can add a Multi Set rating when posting new reviews.

I do love the plugin and will have no issue with supporting development if it works for me. However, everything seems to work as expected Except for the Multi Set option.

When I create a post and use the YASR Multi Set rating option on the back end form, the Multi Set rating does not save. When I refresh the page, the ratings are gone and when I Manage Ratings and look under Multi Set, there are no entries.

Please help! I Really want to use this plugin but if I cannot get the Multi Set option to work, then there is no point in me using this plugin.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling.

First off, I have to commend this plugin, it really is the best.

I’m trying to design a reviews site and I’d like to arrange my posts in ascending order according to highest rated posts instead of according to dates

Version 2.8.4 is still the latest version that works with Avada Theme Builder.
Since version 2.8.5, stars are no longer visible in the backend.
Really very annoying.

Trouble after update

Hey,

I updated the plugin and since then the output has changed to the following:

However, it should look like this:

So I rolled back to 2.7.3.

Could you help me to bring back the ‘before-output’ with the latest version?

I already had the same problem the last time. I hope that it does not happen every time a new update is released. If so, is there any thing I can do in advance?

As soon as the Yasr plugin is active, it shreds the headings. The other plugin also has a rating, but I don’t want to use it. When Yasr is active the title looks like this.

What can I do?
