I’ve been searching for a solution quite a while now, but unfortunately nothing worked so far.

I installed YARPP but on every post I have it just says “no related posts”, although I am considering tags, categories and titles, and chose a treshold of 0.1. To be fair, I currently have around 30 posts.

The YARPP version I’m using is 4.3.1.

Apart from that I’m pretty new to wordpress, so I’m grateful for any help and bear with me if I forgot another necessary detail

I am trying to get yarpp basic working after having been contacted by your adknowledge team about using your supply platform product and yarpp pro. I am very happy with the Popular posts tab widget for jetpack plugin https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/popular-posts-tab-widget-for-jetpack/ . But it conflicts with YARPP which looks very popular and well supported. YARPP won’t pull in any results after a few page loads when I have the Popular Posts plugin enabled. After reinstalling, yarpp will pull in unrelated results which don’t change when you surf to another internal post. Eventually no related posts show at all. . How might I go about getting the two plugins to work together? I am guessing there is some sort of variable conflict.

I suppose, also, that YARPP seems to show end of post data on the top of the page, but the first issue is much more concerning.

Whenever a page is loaded using the Advanced AJAX Page Loader plugin it messes up the way Yet Another Related Posts Plugin is displayed.

When using this plugin my text underneath an url in google is replaced with the related content links. So when a result shows up in google its shows related post instead of the first 2-3 sentences from the post.

An easy way to check it is by sharing your link to G+ and see the snippet that’s created, it’s shows the same problem with the related post “indexation”

Does anyone know a fix for this as this isn’t a good thing imho and I would like to have it fixed. I also tried a different plugin (the one with minimal cpu usage) en it has the same problem.

I just downloaded and activated YARPP and the Related Post Slider. My problem is that they are both showing up at the end of my posts; first the slider and then the list of related posts. How do I get rid of this?

(I saw that someone else had this problem, but it was never resolved.)

I’m also wondering if it’s possible to apply the Related Post Slider to all of my previous posts, or if it will only show up on posts posted after I activated the plugin.

I am re-opening this thread since the previous thread that is marked as ‘resolved’ doesn’t actually say how to address this issue.

I am using version 3.1.9 of YARPP and it is displaying my Yet Another Photoblog uploaded image a second time in the post. This happens when I check “Automatically display related posts” and also when I uncheck that and manually insert related_posts() into my single.php file. I am using a custom YARPP template to display thumbnails, but this also happens when I use the supplied templates.

I’m sure this is a very simple thing, just not sure how to get YARPP to stop doubling up the image. Thanks for any help!
