Zotpress has worked fine but now messed up with listing the wrong references

Zotpress has worked fine for many years but now it malfunctions. I use the following code for in text numbering: [zotpressInText item=”{58FRF82X}” format=”%num%” brackets=”yes”] and for the reference list at the end of the webb page I use: [zotpressInTextBib style=”vancouver” sort=”ASC”].

On this page: https://infovoice.se/sample-size-estimation/ …I get spinning wheels in text and a strange reference list at the end that is numbered 1 and contains other references than the ones I want to cite. The same problem is seen here: https://infovoice.se/litteraturoversikt/. On this page https://infovoice.se/urvalsstrategier-och-datainsamling/ …there is no spinning wheel but all references are numbered 1 and the references in the reference list is not the ones I want to cite.

Am I using an old invalid format for the intext code or reference list code? Any other suggestion?

It is a great pity that not all attachments (files, images, notes, etc.) stored in Zotero entries are displayed as (DOWNLOAD). They cannot be downloaded completely and correctly when using the zotpressLib function of Zotpress. When searching for items, they are displayed twice or multiple times.
It is also a pity that nobody takes the time to respond to error messages.

Add “preprint” as valid “itemtype”

“preprint” is now a valid Zotero item type. I would like to use the shortcode filter “itemtype=preprint” so that I can generate a collection only containing preprints.

The fix looks trivial, I have hacked:

zotpress/lib/shortcode/shortcode.php

to include “preprint” in the “$officialItemTypes” variable

Display only one collection for searchbar

Hi,
i am not a native English-speaker, so please apologize my english.
I searched the last days about my problem. I could generate on my word-press-site a searchbar with zotpress. I could not find a solution, that only one certain collection can be searchable. I don’t want to have my entire library searchable – I just need to have one collection of my library (no group-library) available.

I got zutilo installed and I could find out the collection ID, but could not have limited the search only to this one collection.

Is there a simple solution, since I am not into programming?

Zotero Data Not Loading into Site Page, but Data is visible in App Window

Hi everyone,

We are currently using the Zotero plugin, all the expected data is downloaded and viewable on the plugin screen within the wordpress admin section. However when that data is linked to a page only 25 entries show rather than the expected 200.

I am confident that the issue is not with the page, or our Zotero connection info, as we have other instances of this same site which are working as expected.
We are on wordpress 5.8.1, PHP 8, Zotero 7.2.

We have cleared the cache, cleared the account setup, uninstalled and re-installed the plugin, and insured the page does not have any limits for items to be displayed. However we are still stuck at the 25 entries.

Has anyone experienced anything like this, have any solutions, or follow up questions?

I have not found information if Yada Wiki supports any type of Citation. I think that aspect is among the most important features of the MediaWiki system and of any serious Wiki.
I myself want to migrate from MediaWiki to WordPress because the maintenance of MediaWiki for a low amount of pages is not feasible.

Zotpress Validation Not Working

Hi,

I’m trying to set up Zotpress for the first time. I recently created a Zotero account and validated it through email. I installed and activated Zotpress, and the messages in System Check tab confirms system requirements and connection to www.ads-software.com. However, the “Next” button is grayed out. When I manually click on accounts and enter my API UID and Private Key then click “Validate”, only a blank browser screen appears. Does anyone have any thoughts how to overcome this issue? Let me know if any other info is needed to troubleshoot the issue. I tried on Chrome and Edge with the same result. I’m using the Magbook theme. Thanks!
