There is an open bug in WordPress 4.7.1/4.7.2
(https://core.trac.www.ads-software.com/ticket/39550) that blocks upload for
non-image files. This bug will be fixed in version 4.7.3, and until then you
may use this plugin: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/disable-real-mime-check/.
Installing this plugin workaround the bug and after version 4.7.3 you can
remove it.
