Hi,
Thank you for your message. First of all, I hope you are well.
Let’s walk through the steps for creating and editing sections in Elementor. I’ll guide you both in creating new sections and accessing section settings.
- Creating a New Section:
- Open the page you want to edit using Elementor.
- Click the “Edit with Elementor” button.
- Once Elementor is active, look for the “Add New Section” icon on the page.
- Click the icon to add a new section to your page.
- Editing Section Settings:
- After adding a new section, you’ll want to customize its settings. Here’s how:
- Layout:
- Content Width: Choose between Boxed or Full Width.
- Columns Gap: Set the gap between columns.
- Height:
- Fit to Screen: The section will fill the screen.
- Min Height: Set a minimum height for the section.
- Vertical Align: Adjust the vertical alignment of section content.
- Overflow: Control how content that exceeds the container size is handled (e.g., allow overflow or hide it).
- Stretch Section: Force the section to span the full width of the page.
- HTML Tag: Set an HTML tag for the section.
- Style:
- Background:
- Choose between Classic (color or image), Gradient, Video background, or an image slideshow background.
- Set background overlay options.
- Border:
- Define border type, radius, and add a box shadow.
- Shape Divider:
- Choose a shape divider style, set color, width, height, flip direction, and bring it to the front.
- Typography:
- Set typography colors for the section.
- Advanced:
Remember that you can manipulate and style sections either through the Elementor Panel on the left or by right-clicking the section handle and choosing from the context menu. Feel free to explore these options to create visually appealing layouts!
If you encounter any issues while using the NVDA screen reader, I am here to support you through this challenging situation. Or additional support from the Elementor community. Happy designing!
