    Hello! We’re excited to announce the release of The Events Calendar 4.5.0.2, which is available now. This is a major release and includes all of the following changes:

      Feature – Event Aggregator now allows users to import by URL from other sites with The Events Calendar
      Feature – Include a Events REST API endpoint for read operations
      Feature – Include granular Scheduling for Event Aggregator
      Fix – Prevent Event Aggregator to run on Empty Queues thus generating fatals
      Fix – Categories and Tags are no longer cleared when importing with Event Aggregator
      Fix – Increase consistency on Column Mapping for CSV imports
      Tweak – Update Authority for modified fields now will include Organizer, Venues and Taxonomy changes
      Tweak – Clean up direct calls to get events and use wrapper <samp>tribe_get_events()</samp> which has a hook for customizing
      Tweak – Remove including Event Tickets for backwards compatibility as a vendor library
      Tweak – Create a global ID to increase consistency on all of the imported items with Event Aggregator
      Tweak – Added new filters for REST API
      Tweak – Added filters for REST API Documentation
      Tweak – Added filters for Modified fields tracking
      Tweak – Added filters for Event Aggregator
      Tweak – Removed filters for Event Aggregator
      Tweak – Added actions for Initialization
      Tweak – Removed methods for Tribe__Events__Main:track_event_post_field_changes, maybe_load_tickets_framework
      Tweak – Removed methods for Tribe__Events__Aggregator__Service:has_service_message

  • When I went to do the update, this is what I received six times in a twelve hour period:
    < Update Failed: Could not copy file. the-events-calendar/lang/the-events-calendar-fr-ca.po > What do I do to get this install to happen?

    Hi @naters,

    It sounds like there’s a file permissions issue within your directory structure. Deleting the plugin completely (from the wp-content/plugins folder) then re-installing could be worth a shot.

    Be safe and back-up first of all, though (and know how to restore that backup).

    Hello,

    I am working for a client and we are working in wordpress.com. My client has chosen to go ahead with the ‘The Event Calendar’ plugin. I am facing problems when the event url starts with ‘past’, and gives an error like below.

    https://zanartclasses.com/calendar/list/el-fall-scene/?tribe_event_display=past

    Hence I edited to url to ‘1pastel’. But cann’t have it like the url below as my client may not like to keep editing the url whenever there is a pastel class.

    Could you please look into it or let me know the solution to it or could you redirect me to the correct forum.
