theme images

  • I have recently installed the noise theme that i downloaded from templatesold.com but i do not no how to change the default images.
    There is 3 rotating images on the homepage and a logo and I have no idea how to change them!
    HELP

    You may find code for the slideshow usually in the header.php file but sometimes it is in page.php

    If it is a javascript slideshow there should be an html unordered list with image tags. Not all slideshow scripts are the same. In the case of flash slideshows the image paths may be stored in object params or even an xml file.

    Try to determine which slideshow is used and go to their site for info.

    Often if the slideshow is a plugin then there is a section under settings where image and path data may be easily entered.

    I had this same problem with the noisy theme from templatesold. And this is what I did. After unpacking the downloaded zip file go to the themes image folder and paste the images that you want to have in your site. For this to work you have to give the image the same name as the names that they have in the folder, for example if the name of the image on the downloaded folder is simple_img_1.jpg, then edit your images with and editor like fireworks and give them the same name then save or paste them in the theme folder. Upload and thats it. If you have already uploaded the theme, then you need not upload the whole folder just login to your hosting cpanel, navigate to the wp-content folder, to themes and then locate the folder with the name of the theme, open images and upload the images that you want to appear on the rotating images. This worked for me.
