0.9.5 fails with php 5.6 too & backend shows no content even after deactivation

upgraded to 0.9.5 and site went down even though php 5.6 is used. renamed plugin folder and site got accessible again. anyway backend now only shows navigation and no content -> deleting custom w3tc files in wp-content and disabling cache constant in wp-config.php didn’t have any effect either. Any help would be appreciated!
my advise would be to not update to the latest version at the moment!
