0 Byte SQL using MariaDB 5.5 (Offiicial Centos RPMs)

This seems to be a problem only with Maria, have verified this by removing Maria and deleting /var/lib/mysql and installing Mysql 5.1 .. working with Mysql, not working with Maria.
Do you guys test with Maria? if so, what versions.. if not, …why not?
