  • Hello,
    same here.. what’s going on?!

I have a page with more than 20 comments.
Now I don’t see any comments at all.
also under every article I don’t see the nothing..

I have the suspect it is because the new WordPress 5.8, but I’m not sure.

    Can you fix it?

Facebook has now blocked Facebook Comments in Europe with the explanation “For the Social Plugins, users must be logged into their Facebook account and have provided explicit consent in order to see and interact with plugins such as the ‘Like’ button or ‘Comments.’ If neither of the conditions are met, they will not see these plugins.” Facebook Comments still works OK for all other regions. e.g. India, Asia, North America, South America, etc. This is because of the ePrivacy Directive (ePD).

Did you change the URLs of your web pages in the meantime. Changing even a single character in the URL of any web page will reset the comments because Facebook comments are tracked on URL basis.

Also how can i get the sorting comments option with “Top” as well i have only newest and oldest there.

It’s probably because you don’t have any comments there.

Yesterday i was working on this page and URL did get changed but i fixed it back to its original one. But the comment section is not working from past one month. So could you suggest how can i bring back those comments?

If the comments would have gone because of changing the URLs, those would have come back when you restored the old URL. If it’s not happening, it means your comments have been reset by Facebook itself. In this case, I can’t help you and no matter which Facebook Comments plugin you use.

How can we get to know that Facebook has reset the comments ?

Going through all my posts i observed that one of my post have a comment:
    https://www.succeedwithdyslexia.org/blog/the-spelling-test-conundrum/

And why none other posts have their comments?? This is confusing!! What and how should i do to make things work!!?

If its still not possible to gain back the comments what about the future comments!! If we add any other posts then how its going to work? Will i be able to see comments on future posts?

When you see the comments at your web page are gone suddenly.

The comments you add to the future posts will be there until you change the URL of your web pages or until Facebook makes any changes that affect the comments. You can report this to Facebook by following the steps given at the link below and see what response you get.
