    Hi,
I am trying to use 000webhost to host my WordPress website, but I need some help. When I opened the readme file I did what it said when it says upload all files to an empty directory. Then when I tried to go wp-admin/install.php in my browser, it said it could not be found. So then I went and edited wp-config-sample.php to all the settings in my 000webhost area.

    Can anyone help me?

Typically, we recommend against free hosting providers as they often provide crippled servers that prevent WordPress from running properly.

If you’d like a free WordPress blog, I recommend wordpress.com.

i have 000webhost and i had no problem with locating my file and installing, have you had any luck yet?

Thanks James, I’ll check it out.

@beirut, I can reach the blog, but when I go to my domain, it shows as Index of/ then the directory of where the files are. After I click them, it takes me to the blog.

I’m pretty sure that 000webhost have fantastico installed, which can setup WordPress for you, it’s easy to use. In your control panel you should find a link called “Fantastico” or “Fantastico Installer” or something similar. If you click that it’ll take you to a page with various scripts, find WordPress and it’ll guide you through the installation.
I think that’s the easiest way to do it.

@drinkingsouls, Thank you so much! I just found it. Unfortunately I will have to wait until they finish updating the installer.
