  • I can confirm that: after upgrade all settings are gone.

Additional bug: Running in a multisite installation the link on the page after the upgrade seemed to point to the Piwik Options page /wp-admin/settings.php?... which is not available.

In a multisite installation that page is available under /wp-admin/network/setting.php?...

Good morning. I lost my settings as well and had to reconnect to my self-hosted install. Was successfully able to reconnect, however, the stats graph at the top of the WP admin bar is now gone.

    Hope this feedback helps.

Edit: I simply rechecked the “show stats in the WP toolbar” and got the stats back.

Same problem here. We updated acout 40 blogs today and reproduced the error of lost settings on all 40 blogs.

If you downgrade to 0.9.9.18, you will automatically regain your settings. This doesn’t fix the problem, but you can at least reproduce your settings.

I was able to identify this issue, a fix will be available later this evening after some more testing and checking the other issue mentioned here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/01003-blog-network-internal-server-error

I can confirm this has affected all my websites as well (the plugin’s auto-update). Settings are lost and I can reconnect no problem, but it’s at default settings again. I’m planning on just re-connecting them all (there’s about 8 websites), but please do keep this in mind when issuing a fix as it should keep the settings from the current version for those who have re-configured it, or re-read the settings from the previous version. God speed. ??

Will the update resolve the issue or will we need to re-connect still? In other words… should I just leave it for now and update the plugin which will hopefully re-read the settings / configuration and work again? Or should I reconnect them all anyways?

The new update script will be loaded if settings of WP-Piwik 0.9.9.18 are still available AND WP-Piwik is not configured => WP-Piwik was updated but not reconfigured.
