05-07-2004 Nightly

  • Options page still redirects to permalinks/link manager page… (yah, this is the 3rd time I’ve said this about a nightly)
    This only happens if you have a firewall (like norton) blocking your referrer. Perhaps you could change the page you end up at if no referrer is available?
    I haven’t noticed much else different tho. good work. ??

    Category Permalinks:
    There needs to be a “preceding slash” in front of the word “category” on the options page, for example:
    /category
    rather than:
    category
    Also:
    For categories to work, it seems to be case sensitive, and requires all lower case in the links.

    This has been fixed, please check that thread. It will be out in the next update of nightly or CVS.

    rspeck, blocking referrers is a violation of the HTTP spec and if things don’t work then that’s the consequence.

    allusion, the new structure for htaccess generates an internal server error. I am going to play around with it to see where it fails…
