Using 0.5.2 with Avada theme and WP 3.9, I create the install file, copy install.php and the zip archive (I have to make the zip manually from folder in my Mac) to my server, set up the DB and folder permissions and install.

    I then get:

    Errors: Deploy (0) Update (0) Warnings: (0)

I click on “save permalinks” and it opens the folder where I installed in the browser.

Subsequently, I just get a directory listing which looks like this at the folder where I installed:

    [DIR] Parent Directory –
    [ ] 0430_3rdwv_5363f949ee8704368140502200009_archive.zip 03-May-2014 02:35 32M
    [DIR] 0430_3rdwv_5363f949ee8704368140502200009_archive/ 03-May-2014 02:46 –
    [DIR] __MACOSX/ 03-May-2014 02:42 –
    [ ] installer-data.sql 03-May-2014 02:46 0
    [TXT] installer-log.txt 03-May-2014 02:47 4.0K
    [TXT] installer.php 03-May-2014 02:36 405K
    [TXT] wp-config.php 03-May-2014 02:47 0
    [DIR] wp-snapshots/ 03-May-2014 02:47 –

I’ve tried this on three different sites that I run with the same result every time.

I have successfully deployed other wordpress sites after developing locally on MAMP using duplicator. This time it seems to be problematic. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

OK – never mind – resolved. I deleted everything and started again, but with your safari fix enabled (preferences>untick”open safe files after downloading”)

All worked this time, so it was almost certainly the mac zip disaster. Thanks for your great product btw! It really takes the pain out of local dev for WordPress.

Good to hear! Thanks for the update…
