.06 to .07 – I’ve messed it up

    I read in both thw WP site, and another blog related to WP that only certain files need to be updated to go from .06 to .07, so like an idiot I just FTP’d the files that needed to be replaced. ?? My blog then displayed a blank page. So I restored (with FTP)the 2.0.6 versions of those files, but I still have a blank page.

    Before I make a worse mess, what would be the best thing now? A complete restore from 2.0.6 backup?

    I promise to read more instructions next time.

    I’ve done a complete restore 2.06, and that’s cured it. Now I shall follow the instructions for upgrading to 2.07.
