The update to 1.12.0 causes the flipbook to fail with the message “Item is not found” even though the shortcode is correct and has been working for two years. We had to restore the last version from website backup to regain use.

  • Hi,
I have also problems with 1.12.0 update. The flipbook fails with the message “NetworkError when attempting to fetch resource.”

    Hi
same problem “Item is not found” since update. Without wp-rocket (or using url with ?nowprocket, or disable delay js execution) it’s working.
in js delay execution exclusion we set
    /interactive-3d-flipbook-powered-physics-engine/assets/js/(.*).js
but since the update it doesn’t work anymore

    Where is this happening?

Can you see anything in the browser console?

Can you see anything in the PHP error logs?

@inndesign did you test the new version on clean WordPress? could you write a link to your page?

    (@inndesign)

@iberezansky Please read my original post carefully. We reinstalled the previous plugin version 1.11.5 since the latest one has problems. Looking at our website will not show anything with the previous plugin installed?

Since several users are having the same issue, it is not isolated to some installation quirk of one user. We are not going to park a domain, set up hosting, and install the latest plugin on a new WordPress installation to test a plugin, that is expecting way too much. We will keep the old version until you fix it. Clearly a problem with the coding in 1.12.0.

    Error noted in browser:

    client.min.js:1:38664

    renderError https://domain.com/wp-content/plugins/interactive-3d-flipbook-powered-physics-engine/assets/js/client.min.js:1

    renderInstances https://domain.com/wp-content/plugins/interactive-3d-flipbook-powered-physics-engine/assets/js/client.min.js:1

    start https://domain.com/wp-content/plugins/interactive-3d-flipbook-powered-physics-engine/assets/js/client.min.js:1

You should archive each version in the WordPress repository tag folder so users have the option to revert back to an earlier plugin as other plugin authors provide. All my plugins provide previous versions under the “Advanced View” link on the right, then below “ADVANCED OPTIONS”.

what can we do, if you do not provide a link? it works on our side. there are 70k active installs – 26.2% (18340) have 1.12.0 and just 2 reports: “item not found”. we need at least to have a look at your side please, then we can talk what we can do with the issue and where it goes from.

@iberezansky Below is the link, but we need to resolve the issue quickly so I can restore the previous plugin for working results.

@inndesign it works https://ibb.co/W6Msmbx Probably you need just to clear the browser cache.

@entiria last version render book data after shortcode as inline js. does your page optimization anything with inline scripts?

    Thread Starter inndesign

    (@inndesign)

@iberezansky I had removed all website caching previously (Autoptimize and Async JavaScript) thinking that was the problem, but it was not. I just cleared all my browser caches AGAIN using CCleaner and now the 3D Flipbook is working. Never had this been a problem before with your updates, so the new plugin’s change must have been at Javascript level. Some of the repeat website customers also told us about the problem, so it is a widespread error seen user side. @entiria will probably find the same results. Thanks!

If I update to 1.12.0 and replace shortcode.php with the 11.5.0 version, it works (it isn’t the solution, I made it only for debugging).

the inline script I found is the same with or without cache:
    <script type="text/javascript">window.FB3D_CLIENT_DATA = window.FB3D_CLIENT_DATA || []; window.FB3D_CLIENT_DATA.push('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');window.FB3D_CLIENT_LOCALE && window.FB3D_CLIENT_LOCALE.render();</script>

Hey there, having this issue too, console log says error `true client.min.js?ver=1.12.1:1′ with wp-rocket…
    On our Website https://www.beautylounge-pintar.at

    Hello,

The lack of correct tag usage in your svn repository also messes with composer-based setups that use your plugin.

On wpackagist.org, the composer package repository for WordPress plugins, you can see that it does not list your previous versions either. https://wpackagist.org/search?q=interactive-3d-flipbook-powered-physics-engine

If we have a dependency on an older version, and then try to subsequently install it on a new machine, we get an error like this:

    – Root composer.json requires wpackagist-plugin/interactive-3d-flipbook-powered-physics-engine == 1.12.1.0, found wpackagist-plugin/interactive-3d-flipbook-powered-physics-engine[dev-trunk, 1.12.2] but these do not match your constraint and are therefore not installable. Make sure you either fix the constraint or avoid updating this package to keep the one present in the lock file (wpackagist-plugin/interactive-3d-flipbook-powered-physics-engine[1.12.1]).

Here’s how you can do this: https://developer.www.ads-software.com/plugins/wordpress-org/how-to-use-subversion/#tagging-new-versions

    Thanks!
