Problems with this plugin

  • 1. I don’t see any ads in category loop pages and not in search result pages, either. Can this plugin do that? I need to add ad units to specific spots, for example after the 1st, 3rd and 5th post on a category loop page as well as on any search result pages?

    2. I need to have 1 ad in the sidebar of a page but don’t want any ads on the main area of the page, can we do that? As is, I can separate the two. Did i set something wrong on settings?

  • 1. You need to use the shortcode option in the corresponding category template.
    This can not be done automatically

    2. Can be done. You need to disable all other default ads with the post meta settings: https://take.ms/h1sGt

    Thank you for the reply. I apologize I don’t know how to write code. I found the post-loop.php in my theme folder (the screenshots below. My site is still localhosted) but I’m using the child theme so I assume I’d need to add codes to the child theme’s functions.php. If that’s correct, can you assist me with the codes I need to insert to the functions.php, please? Thank you.
