    Hello all,

I did create database A for my website A. Later I did buy another domain and did build website B, but I never did create any database for it.

So, I got website A with database A
and I got website B, but it has no database.

So I have backup of database A. That means website A is backupped.
I dont have database B. That means I can’t backup database B, beacause that database doesn’t exist. That means I can’t backup website B!

My question 1: I wan’t a good backup of my website B, but how?

My question 2: I see also a database called: WPDB. But I didn’t make that one. Maybe WP did make automaticly a database for website B? What do you think?

    Regards,

    Sef

  • You mentioned website B had no database. is it on wordpress? check database option for both in their respective wp-config.php files.

Only way i think you can have two different websites using same database for wp is if they have different table prefix.

    laliz. Ty very much!

Yes, both websites created in WP.

I did check it and the WPDB I told you is the database for my website B!
Weird, I didn’t create that one. I thing the template I use did it. I don’t know.

However it’s clear now. Thank you again.
