Here is that feed..it comes in fine..see the movie here:

the style should have nothing to do with whether the feed comes in or not..it’s just determined by number of items and the total number you want from all sources (of course, if a feed only has a couple of items, that is all you’ll get)

Thanks Allen. How about this: I have two feeds for import from nearly the same domain but with differents in URL. I just upgraded to latest version of plugin, then deleted all posts from bildmanufaktur-wackernah.de as described and did a new manual fetch of feeds. Again only three new items were fetched.

Is there any limit which feed items may fetched by wp rss multi importer?

Let me explain what I have:

    Feed 1: https://koffer-kunst.de/koffer-kunst/feed/ – 39 were fetched
    Feed 2: https://glaasker.de/store/feed/ – 7 were fetched
    Feed 3: https://bildmanufaktur-wackernah.de/brand/ilona-weinhold-wackernah/feed/ – 3 were fetched
    Feed 4: https://bildmanufaktur-wackernah.de/brand/adrian-j-g-wackernah/feed/ – 3 were fetched

From Feed 1 and 2 all posts were fetched, from 3 and 4 only three newest posts, but both have overall more than 300 posts which could be fetched. But neither a manual fetch command brings more items from feed 3 or 4 in my blog.

I have a big questionmark in mind?

according to your settings, explained in first post, you are saying bring in 3 items for each feed for a total of 200 items. Therefore, when you first fetch it will bring in 3 items for Feed 1, 3 items from Feed 2, 3 items from Feed 3 and 3 items from Feed 4 (since you stated you wanted 3 items from each feed – regardless of whether you wanted 200 items in total).

Now, if Feed 1 has new items when you fetch the next time, 3 new items from Feed 1 will come in, – and if there are no new items in Feeds 3 and 4, no new items will come in.

What I suggest you do is change you settings to bring in 20 items from each feed for a total of 4*20=80 items. That way, each time you fetch it will look for the 20 most recent items from each feed.

Well Allen, I got now all fifteen items into posts, but I had to set the numbers to higher values like this:

Number of Entries per Feed to Fetch: 100
Number of Total Post Entries per Fetch: 800

    I had before this values

Number of Entries per Feed to Fetch: 3
Number of Total Post Entries per Fetch: 200

and thought, at each fetch older posts from feed will import as posts, but that dosn’t work? In such a case, how do I get older posts from a site into a rss feed for importing feed to posts with wp rss multi import?

Sorry, our posts came across each other. Yes, as you wrote, thats what I wanted. But there in your explanation is the little word “new” which tells me, that at each fetch only newer posts from feed will imported. Thats what I did not mention as I thought, at first import 3 items will import and at next fetch the next 3 items will imported. But if at first fetch the 3 newest items are imported, no older items get imported by wp rss?! Right. OK.

you can only import what’s in the RSS feed. You might ask for 100 entries to imported from an RSS feed, but if it has only 5 entries, then you get 5 entries. Are you sure you have 100 entries in every one of your RSS feeds?

I checked the feed blog and yes, I had only setup 15 items to be in the feed. I changed it to higher value. Now I get all items I wanted.

Thanks Allen for showing me the right way. I am now a simple kind of pro.

I rated your plugin, thanks for it – it does a very good job.
